I can't speak to the atmosphere of the place because I actually just ordered food from here via Uber Eats what I can say is that I received my food incredibly fast (15 minutes after placing my order at 5pm on a Friday) and that the food that I received was quite tasty and still plenty hot, not to mention decently priced. I had the asada mini tacos, pictured minus the one I ate already, as well as a cheese enchilada al la carte which was an additional $2 or so, and this little taco-sized asada quesadilla which was an additional $3.60 i think, both of which were delicious and neither of which are pictured because I ate them already. 😂 I was really hungry. 🤷 😅 And this place definitely hit the spot. 👌 The little quesadilla add-on is a great idea that I really like, but just a heads up it's only meat and cheese, so you may want to add pico or something. They also included plenty of salsa and napkins with my delivery order, which is always a plus. 👍

I wanted to take a moment to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at your restaurant during my lunch break. I ordered the fajita nachos, and I was extremely disappointed with what was served. The fajita meat resembled dried beef jerky, there was barely any cheese, and I received only one tablespoon of refried beans. This was not at all what I expected from your establishment.I took the initiative to call and speak with the manager about my concerns. He suggested that I return the food for a replacement, but since I won’t be able to come back until Tuesday, I expressed my frustration about having to keep the unsatisfactory meal until then. Unfortunately, the manager's response was dismissive, leaving me feeling disheartened by the entire interaction. Given this experience, I do not foresee returning to your restaurant in the future.

La Tapatia is my go-to taco spot—I make it a point to stop by at least once a week! Their Alambres mini tacos are absolutely incredible and such a great deal. The flavors are always spot-on, and you can tell everything is made fresh and with care. The beans are some of the best I’ve ever had. They remind me of the rich, homemade beans from the Rio Grande Valley. The tortillas are freshly made, the guacamole is always perfectly fresh, and the salsas are just phenomenal—they add the perfect kick to every bite. On top of the amazing food, the drive-through is incredibly convenient, especially when I’m in a rush but still want something delicious. If you’re looking for authentic tacos with unbeatable flavor and convenience, La Tapatia is the spot!

I have given this place many chances. When they first opened I would hair in my breakfast tacos. I spoke to a manager about it , but he didn't seem to care about my concerns. I stopped going for about 6 months , I recently about two weeks ago I gave them another try. I ordered through the drive thru and I had 4 orders, the woman who took my order asked if I wanted all of the orders separate, I told her yes, she replied YES, REALLY? I said yes again and she sighed and told me to drive up. When I got to the window she was complaining to her co-worker in Spanish telling her that I was being picky and I wanted the orders separate. She was clearly irritated, she went on and on complaining about me wanting the orders separate. A week later I went back and there she is again same woman at the window. RUDE...very rude. Last night I went back again and ordered. When I was ordering I literally had to yell my order because of all the talking I could hear going on where she was at in the restaurant. She did not read my order back to me and told me to drive up. When I got to the window , it was the same woman again. She told me that my total was 24.08, I asked her why, it should be a lot less. She said that I had ordered 2 #8's and 2 #18's and 2 orders of crispy tacos. I told NO I did not and repeated my ordered. She got very upset and started arguing with me and telling me that I did order all of that food. She would not stop trying to convince me that I had ordered that food. I told her never mind, I don't want any of it! and I drove off. The woman is heavy set, light skin, light hair. She stands out because I've only seen thin women work there and she is the only heavy one that I've seen. She works the drive thru window in the evenings. I will not go back. I work near the restaurant , but I will drive a few miles down the road to buy Mexican food from now on , and I'm sure that I will get better service. NO MORE CHANCES...

Server did not speak any english for one and the tea had a moldy funky taste . Not fresh at all with way too much sugar. Asked for queso with our chips it took nearly 15 min. To return with something that looked orange juice from a can. Tasted horrible which made us wonder why the entire staff watched and snickered as the server brought it to our table. Weird. Took nearly 30 min. to bring out two taco salads that had been fried in old grease. The restaurant has a bug zapper hanging in the window above the table next to our table. Realized this about half way through the disapointing meal after hearing it zap a few times and having crickets land on our food. Didnt seem to be a concern for any of the employees when bringing this to their attention as crickets and other insects were hopping and flying around. Server didnt offer to do anything she and the other employees gathered around and just laughed. I had to talk to a another employee that was awear of what I happend yet did nothing other than laugh, to address the situation . He ended up discounting our ticket. What a crock. Not pleased and will never return. I DO NOT KNOW HOW OR WHY THIS PLACE IS EVEN OPEN FOR BUSINESS. HORRIBLE. TO TOP THAT . I mentioned to the incompetent male employee that the queso was not queso and his response was " yeah i know sorry we opened an old can of some kinda mystery sauce. Sorry bout that"...... I COULD NOT BELEIVE MY EARS. I HAD TO WALK WAY QUICKLY OR THINGS WOULD HAVE GONE A WHOLE DIFFERENT DIRECTION AND I LIKE FREEDOM. SO I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE AND HAVE CALLED THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AS WELL AS A FEW OTHER...

What a shame. Management is horrible here. Used to be regulars, never coming back to this location again.

Order the same order everyday, multiple times a day. Literally spend 100s a week here. This time instead of ordering drive thru we called the store to place a order to go. When I got their I got the food left, went home order was completely wrong. I called the store had no problem returning food to get correct order. The manager Raul was very agrressive and hostile towards us saying to order it right next time bring the food back etc. It was early morning just got out of work, I had to wait until took kids to school to go back. So now another 2 hours has passed its been almost 3 hours since I had originally ordered. I go order I get to window and this guy starts yelling at me about the order and that he's not my slave and that he doesn't have to replace my food or give me a refund with a smile.I was confused because as a manager your supposed to fix the problem not create more problems. Y'all made a mistake it's cool own it. Stop blaming the customer. Your running a local buisness, a neighborhood restraunt. The owner got their and he tried to switch up his attitude after being disrespectful numerous times, wouldn't pass me to the owner as he doesn't know English. He ended up rudely replacing the food, but it still went into the trash. I wasn't hungry anymore, and just disgusted by the place. Point is do better , I will never be coming back here again due to the horrible management. Foods ok usually , waitresses are great. but management needs to do so much...
