I insisted eating or should I say giving this place a try based soley off the name. I felt someone with that kinda humor was worth the effort.
I wasn't sure what to expect and honestly didn't expect much. But I was absolutely blown away!
First off extremely reasonable prices for what's offered including portion size, quality, presentation, etc.
Tara was our main server. One other girl equally as good whose name I forgot to ask helped often.
My order was simple just beef wok fried rice and pork egg roll. The person I was with had some honey Walnut shrimp, which came with soup and egg roll. I was offer soup as well.
One thing that really blew me away was for dine in customers soup refills are free. I had wonton which was great and the other person was eggdrop. She really enjoyed it.
The fried rice was different than I'm used to. Normally I have long straps of beef. This was small cubes. The flavor of the rice was outstanding. I was concerned at first with the beef but the flavor was still there and perfect.
We were offered some crunchy noodles with an orange dipping sauce. They also have a Lemmon and a duck sauce. I didn't care for the orange sauce only because I really just don't care for orange sauce. But it was a decent flavor for what it was.
The menu had a nice variety of items and styles. It was only overwhelming because there was so much I wanted to try. Tara (jokingly stated up front we had to eat all our food because there was no taking home of leftovers and we weren't allowed to leave unless we ate everything.
The pieces of shrimp were huge! The fried rice was probably the average served amount. However it was brought out in a giant bowl. It certainly gave the impression the bowl could easily feed about 6 people.
The restaurant atmosphere was a simple one. I enjoyed that. Classic rock was played. One of my favorite generes. The fountain drinks were Pepsi. As of lately I've had lots of issues with good tasting fountain Pepsi. But these were very good. Tara and the other young lady were great about stopping by our table to check on us to see if we wanted drink or soup refills, to take dishes away, or just talk a little to us when they had a moment about the restaraunt.
If I could offer more than 5 stars for everything I would!
They do delivery for a small fee or carry out as well as dine in.
Wok This Way has easily earned a life long customer in me as well as I'll highly recommend them to anyone wanting Asian style cuisine. Besides letting me eat for free or letting me take home for free as much food as I wanted I don't think this place could impress me any more than they did or drive my desire to stay loyal to them.
Awesome job staff of Wok This Way. Management and owners you need to give the night crew that worked July 17 2024 big props. They absolutely deserve and earned it including the kitchen staff that were behind the scenes the...

Wok This Way is an absolute gem that exceeded all my expectations, both in terms of food quality and service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel instantly at home. The restaurant’s ambiance is a wonderful blend of traditional and contemporary, creating a cozy yet vibrant setting that perfectly complements the delicious cuisine.
The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was prepared with a level of care and precision that showcased authentic Asian flavors while incorporating modern twists. The variety on the menu was impressive, offering everything from classic favorites to unique chef specials. We sampled a few different dishes, including the savory Kung Pao chicken, the aromatic Thai basil stir-fry, and a perfectly crispy spring roll appetizer – each one was a standout in its own right. The balance of flavors was impeccable, and the freshness of the ingredients truly shined through. You can tell the kitchen team is passionate about their craft, and it reflects in the quality of every bite.
What truly elevated the experience at Wok This Way, however, was the top-tier service. Ricky, who not only served us but is also the owner, brought a level of hospitality that was both professional and heartfelt. His attention to detail was exceptional – he made sure our glasses were never empty, checked in to see how we were enjoying each course, and even took the time to share stories about the restaurant’s journey. It’s rare to come across a place where the owner takes such a hands-on approach, and it made our visit feel incredibly personal and special. Ricky’s genuine kindness and dedication to providing an outstanding dining experience were truly a blessing.
Overall, Wok This Way offers more than just a meal – it delivers an experience that lingers long after you’ve left. The combination of outstanding food, an inviting atmosphere, and remarkable service creates a dining destination that sets a high standard. For anyone looking to indulge in delicious Asian cuisine served with a side of heartfelt hospitality, Wok This Way should be at the top of your list. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the mouthwatering dishes...
Read moreLet me start by saying: What a great online ordering system! Love Wok This Way's detailed site. I got to order exactly what I like without having to call in to tweak my order. High Five
Secondly, if you sign up for e-mail notifications, they let you know when the order was received and when it goes out for delivery!
I ordered for a small army although its just me, myself and I.. General Tso chicken was SPOT ON! The website allowed me to specify all white meat chicken, wonton strips instead of green onions and only $1.50 for extra chicken. I ordered steamed rice and they send the chicken with enough sauce to give the rice flavor. Thats just my preference. Also, they let you order how spicy you want the dish on a scale from 1-10. General Tso was a 5 at default so I choose a 6. I can tell the difference! I liked the pork egg roll that came with the order.
Since this was the first time I was ordering from Wok This Way I decided to go big. I ordered a small fry and some pumpkin cheesecake in addition to the General Tso plate. The fries are steak style and mine were a little softer than I'd prefer but they were def cooked completely. Its possible the steam inside the small container made them less crunchy. No complaints. They were well seasoned. The pumpkin cheesecake is AMAZING! Here we are in late October when everyone and their mother's best friend has pumpkin everything and I love it! The cheesecake is layered; the top is pumpkin and the middle is original. The crust was not soggy and had great texture. LOVE.
My order was less than $22 bucks after upcharges, tax, delivery charge and tip. I am happy with that price considering I'll be having General Tso, half and egg roll, plenty of fries and half a cheesecake slice for leftovers tonight.
Oh yeah, I ordered, got an email confirming my order was received, 18 minutes later that it was out for delivery and 20 minutes later they were outside my college dorm.
Very pleased with my Wok This Way experience today! I will order from here again the next time myself or anyone I know has a Chinese...
