1st time here. Walking in we found a seat quickly, the waitress approached us within a couple of minutes. Drinks took a couple minutes and order was placed. We saw a waitress bring everyone around us chips but we got none so not sure if you pay for them or not. Food took about 10 minutes. We ordered: asada- 7/10 good amount of meat, thinly cut, good flavor without a lot of spice, not juicy but not dry. Bean and cheese:7/10 more beans than cheese but good, 2 out of 3 said needed a little salt Carne guidasa with cheese:6/10 decent amount of meat to cheese ratio. 2 out of 3 at the table said it lacked flavor the one who liked it doesn't like spicy food Potato and egg: 8/10 big potatoes but cooked all the way, they liked it Sausage and egg: I give a 5 out of 10 it was eh Nopalitos: 8 out of 10 it was good but some pieces were hard to chew, good proportion French fries: were crunchy and cooked to perfection Tortillas were big and good but some were a little crunchy

During the visit we saw other tables that just got there also getting chips so I'm thinking we just didn't get any which was an aww moment because everyone knows chips and salsa are like a rule of a good Mexican food critique lol

Building is cozy with a home feel to it, there was a lot of trash but for anyone going to Mexican restaurants during church rushes it's expected to see some napkins and food on the floor lol

Overall we give a 6.5 points mainly being deducted for lack of attentiveness from staff. The atmosphere just seemed blah. There was a man singing very loud in our ear while we were having a conversation. I normally don't mind it but when they keep their space and understand not everyone wants to be serenaded during a meal. If people look in deep convo move on Lol The lady at checkout that gave us the refills was very nice. The other waitress appeared to be doing an amazing job. Cooks looked busy...

Update June 2024-- I'll be adding more pictures of different things I try. My hubby and I are pretty much becoming regulars. It's delicious here!

Original post--First time here. It is a cute restaurant with a decent amount of seating room.

Ordered: bean and cheese taco, carne guisada taco, potato egg and cheese taco, and a huevos Ranchero plate.

The taco sizes are a bit bigger than average. The tortillas are definitely homemade. They are fluffy and super soft and taste amazing.

Hubby said the Carne guisada is delicious. The meat is tender and has a great amount of flavor.

His huevos Ranchero plate was delicious to him as well. He thought it was a nice touch that they have potato slices to show its a fresh potato compared to the traditional cube cuts. The Ranchero sauce is perfect.

The bean and cheese taco is delicious. I like the flavor of the refried beans. The cheese is okay but not my favorite. It is kind of like that easy melt cheese shredded.

The potato and egg was amazing. The potatoes were cooked to perfection and weren't greasy or dry. Usually, I need cheese but a plain potato and egg taco would have been magnificent.

The salsa Verde is packed with flavors and the right amount of heat/spice.

The coffee and sweet tea are great. The service was nice.

The price was $21 plus change and tip. They have some good prices and specials.

Definitely will be...

We always love coming to Lupita's.

Our first time here made enough of an impression that we never forgot it and we would only talk about the next time we go.

Finally made it back.

Breakfast served all day. So I ordered the steak and eggs đŸ„©đŸł. The cut was pretty big and my eggs were perfect, just the way I like them. Thanks to our server. She mentioned the runniness and helped me decided to order my eggs over easy. And I loved them with the potatoes.

The tortillas de maiz were warm and delicious, especially filled with a dollop of beans and another of salsa verde.

My tĂa enjoyed her breakfast plate of chorizo con juevo.

We were immediately welcomed. Sat wherever we liked. We passed by earlier and the parking lot was full but it seems as if we missed the lunch rush.

Actually, we were remembered. We were sweetly asked how my mother was. She was with us on our initial visit and she noticed she was missing this time. She was home but I'll try her.

Last time we went gave us a wonderful memory. We were sitting, already having ordered and we band to listen to someone singing. A big glorious voice. Then there were voices and the entire kitchen's song poured out into the dining area. And I couldn't help but feel all that energy winds up in the meal prepared for me.

We loved it. Still do. Can't...

Lupita’s is a fantastic little spot that really hits the mark if you’re craving a hearty, affordable breakfast. They have an awesome deal — 2 tacos for just $3 before 10AM — and trust me, it’s worth it. The tortillas are freshly made and delicious, soft but with that slight chew that makes them perfect. Their special selection is simple but exactly what you want in a classic breakfast taco: bean and cheese, potato and egg, and ham and egg. Each one was hot, flavorful, and generously stuffed. We also tried their coffee, which was surprisingly good — strong and fresh, perfect alongside the tacos. To top it off, we couldn’t resist ordering pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were fluffy and buttery, and the bacon was nice and crispy, adding that salty kick that balances out the sweet. All in all, Lupita’s is the kind of local gem you’ll want to keep coming back to. Great prices, friendly service, and solid comfort food that starts your morning off right. If you’re in the area and want a filling breakfast that won’t break the bank, definitely give them a try. You’ll leave full, happy, and probably planning your next visit.
