Good solid 4+. We really enjoyed the fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks. Our pizza tonight was the Brisket Pizza. Good flavor, great sauce and a good amount of cheese where it lacked was the attention to detail. Everything was in the middle leaving a huge crust. This was not how other pizzas were that we saw coming out of the kitchen. It looked like a rush job. So that would be a needed improvement area, my only complaint would be the chairs. Our chairs at our table were not comfortable. My teenager didn't even like them. We could have stayed longer, but we were tired of sitting there. Atmosphere was unique. The staff and our server was very friendly. He checked up on us several times. Maars' Stars for him.

Maar's PIzza!! If you have not been and you love pizza go now. I got an 8 in lunch special pizza and wow it was so tasty. The crust was buttery and light .I never eat the crust but couldn't resist it was that good and filling . Pizza dough was the perfect light crunchy deliciousness that I haven't had in a long while. Sauce was flavorful and with great consistency. Topping was good too I had the Italian sausage. the cheese not oily and the best stringiness if you know what that means when you bite the pizza and the cheese is well stringy. So must say Awesome Pizza I will be back thank you Ali for the great service.

Ordered a personal pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni and bacon. It was good, but not outstanding. Also ordered a full order of wings. They were really good with just salt and pepper. The reason for the three star review is because they advertise a full order of wings as 10-12pcs, but when I received mine, there were only 8pcs. Don't know if this was accidental or just the way they do things, but I should have at least gotten the minimum 10pcs advertised. I'm my photos, there is a pic of when I first opened wings, the second pic is after I ate one and thought the order looked a little short.

As a dedicated Google review expert and esteemed local guide, I am thrilled to share my outstanding experience at Maar's Pizza and More, located at 14218 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247. Let me just say, this place truly exceeded all of my expectations in every way possible!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that immediately made me feel at home. The decor was inviting, the atmosphere was lively, and the aroma of freshly baked pizza filled the air - a true food lover's paradise!

Let's talk about the star of the show - the pizza. Oh, where do I even begin? The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside, just the way I like it. The toppings were generous, fresh, and of the highest quality. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and I could tell that only the freshest ingredients were used in every slice.

But wait, there's more! The menu at Maar's Pizza and More offers a wide variety of options to cater to every palate. Whether you're a meat lover, a vegetarian, or a fan of unique gourmet toppings, there's something for everyone here. The pasta dishes were cooked to perfection, the salads were fresh and crisp, and the appetizers were simply irresistible.

And let's not forget about the impeccable service. The staff at Maar's Pizza and More went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making helpful recommendations that truly enhanced my meal.

In addition to the fantastic food and service, the prices at Maar's Pizza and More are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food. You definitely get great value for your money here, making it a perfect spot for a casual weeknight dinner or a special weekend treat.

Overall, I cannot recommend Maar's Pizza and More highly enough. Whether you're a local resident or just passing through San Antonio, this hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and top-notch service. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Thank you, Maar's Pizza and More, for a truly unforgettable dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon to indulge in more of your mouthwatering creations. Keep up the fantastic...

My family has been coming to this place for years for the pizza and then their karaoke. For my Dad's Birthday this year, we had a party of 30-40 people. First off, they refused to set a table for our party as we didn't all show up at the same time. They said they needed to have the tables open for the dinner rush.

As our people filled the setting for 20 and the tables around us remained empty, we had to pull tables (ourselves) to accommodate our group of paying customers. We ended up pulling together an additional 4 tables. Although our server was very kind and courteous, the on duty managers (Ashley and Ali) were very bad-tempered and aggressive about us moving tables.

Any other establishment would be more than happy to have a large group walk in and bring them businesses. Any other restaurant would have sent one or two more servers to assist with service (Knowledge from working as a server myself). However, these managers did not send our server assistance.

After we finished our food and our group (mostly senior citizens) started to close their tabs and leave, one of the young managers approached my mother as she was taking presents out to the car. She was angry about us having moved tables. She started raising her voice at my mother and even tried to make a big spectacle of herself. She even called the police saying she was being aggressive to her! She called the police on an old lady with her arms full of presents for bringing them business! (Officer, they moved my tables! 😂) Seriously?!

My mother continued to take the packages to the car. The young women followed my mother outside to yell and scream at her for treating her with disrespect. Our group watched the happenings in total disbelief. My brother had to tell the young woman to go back inside and get away from our mother.

Was this manager drunk? Was she on drugs? Or did she not take her prescription today? We don't know, but we are absolutely mortified by the way we were treated after our continued patronage. So, if you are planning to eat out, don't chance it here. The management...

If you’re searching for a place to contemplate your worst life choices over something hot and suspiciously cheese-covered, look no further. This culinary landfill delivers on all fronts: chaotic décor, existential dread, and a deep-fried identity crisis.

From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by what I assume is décor—though it might just be a pile of forgotten furniture from several failed businesses. It screams “we tried… once… maybe.” The lighting? A fever dream. The music? Somewhere between children’s party playlist and gas station radio. Ambiance? Post-apocalyptic yard sale.

The food arrives swimming in grease and self-loathing. If you enjoy mozzarella with the texture of a mattress and the taste of nothing in particular, you’re in luck. I did detect a note of tomato—faint, like a cry for help—but it was quickly smothered by a ladle of regret.

And the prices! Oh, the prices. Think fine-dining cost, but without the fine—or the dining. It’s like being robbed, but the thief insists you tip them afterward. A bold business model: charge luxury rates, serve cafeteria sadness.

In closing, this place is not a restaurant. It is a punishment disguised as dinner. A greasy monument to poor taste and worse decision-making. I came in hungry and left spiritually hollow—with a receipt that haunts me.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely. To people I...
