Machetes y Gorditas El Herradero — Restaurant in San Antonio

Food was very delicious. The green and red salsas had a good amount of heat. The basket of chips were crunchy and fresh. I highly recommend getting the machete, plates (get corn tortillas), and gorditas. The only criticism I can provide the restaurant is to improve the quality of the limonada and sweet tea. The lemonade had a weird after taste like citric acid. It reminded me the taste of the pre squeezed lemon container they sell in store. The sweet tea had an old taste. I can’t wait to come back and try their breakfast...

We got three Gorditas and one machete, we were very happy we turned off the interstate for this. We were in San Antonio the night before and had decent food, but this was really authentic...
