I went last night with my boyfriend after a UTSA event at six flags, we were really hungry and didn't wanna spend $40 on 2 meals at six flags so we came here. Looking back at it, we were probably better off eating at six flags. I ordered 2 hot and spicy McChickens, one of them was raw. Yes, RAW. 3 bites in and I felt so disgusted. We went to the front, knocked on the door (dining room was closed) and out came Taniya (yes, i remember your name babe :) ) She looked at the sandwich, looked back at me and said "What do you wanna do." My boyfriend and i were stunned by this question. This wasn't just a regular "you forgot my pickles" mistake, no i was given RAW CHICKEN. We kinda stumbled on our words, my boyfriend said this was really gross to which she responding by staring at him, smiling and holding back a laugh. She looks back at me and says "What do you wanna do." I told her i wanted a refund on just that sandwich. I don't even care about the money at this point, I was just scared to death that i consumed salmonella. We asked if we could wash our hands and she said no, the dining room was closed. "But ma'am we just touched raw meat." She groaned and let us in. I wasn't satisfied with this so I asked to speak with another employee (Jeffrey) who was SO MUCH kinder and helpful. but before i spoke with him, i told Taniya she was being rude to which she responded with "how am i being rude??" I was taken aback because at someone who has worked in food service for years, I know what it's like to be mistreated by customers. It's not a nice feeling. However, Taniya was treating my boyfriend and I like we were Karens complaining about food just because we wanted to. No babe, i got raw chicken and you're acting like it's inconvenient to YOU. When i requested to speak to Jeffrey she rolled her eyes and said "oh my goodness!!" Horrible experience, although I did speak with Maria over the phone and she's willing to make things right. As for Taniya: You need to learn some proper customer service. Trust me, I know there are some customers that are just incredibly annoying. I've been there before, I was only 16 years old when I worked my first food service job and I was mistreated all the time. Whatever was bothering you yesterday, you need to learn that it is not the fault of a customer who was given raw chicken. If you wanna be rude to an actual Karen, be my guest. but NEVER be rude to someone who consumed salmonella and is at risk of getting hospitalized. I hope you...
Read moreWorst McDonald's Ever! Just came back from driving there in pouring rain to get food for our children. Simple order - 2 BEC Biscuits, 1 Big Breakfast and 1 order of pancakes. Had to wait several minutes to watch them hand a small bag and no drinks to the car in front of me. Several people working, Dining room nearly empty and no cars behind me.
When they finally handed me my food I asked the boy if he had the extra order of pancakes in the bag as he did not read it off. He assured me he did. They were not when I got home.
About 1/3 of the time we go there they mess our order up. Also about 1/4 of the time we go for ice cream at different parts of the day, wait in line to order - we are told their ice cream machine is broken.
Obviously a horribly managed and poorly trained crew!
Updare (1/1/2020): 8 months later and I had complained to McDonalds Corporate and spoken with a very nice lady who appreciated my input. Seemed like things improved a bit, but right back to the horrible experience more recently. Bad french fries, missing items from my orders, pickup window personnel guarantee orders are correct and and then you get home and it's not. Always check your order at the window there!. Dirty inside - especially the kids play area. As I state in my first review - THE WORST MCDONALD'S EVER!
We've decided to just give up and are going to try the Whataburger a couple of blocks away from now on.
Update August 28 2024 - still worst McDonald’s ever! Appeared around 3 am a couple of weeks to get some food (they claim to 24 hours). Told “sorry we are switching over to breakfast and no food available”. The next weekend appeared around 3 am and was told same thing. Today at 2:50 pm in the afternoon was once again told ice cream machine was down - been this way the past 3 visits....
Read moreThis review is in regards to drive-thru only, as I have not gone inside this location yet. However, the 3 times I've gone to this location it's been absolutely terrible. First time driving up I was met with silence for quite awhile before I had to speak up to make sure anyone was even there. This at least got someone's attention, but was met with a please hold. About a minute and a half went by, tried calling out again, nothing this time, I drove off.
Second time, completely different day and time, drove up again, was asked to wait, which was fine. What was not fine was the 3 other cars in the second drive-thru next to me having their orders taken before mine, and the person for mine never came back, even after calling out (why even have two drive-thrus if your not even going to use them?).
Third and last time, am thinking maybe the other two times were flukes and/or bad days. Got up to the window (the person was there this time) asked for my order: FIVE TIMES. I had to repeat myself five separate times, and after the sixth time asked I just drove off.
I don't know if this is neglect on the managers part, the employees who don't care, bad equipment, or a combination of all of the above, but I'll never go back to this location again. Ever. The only reason I cared to go to it so many times is because it's the closest to my location, but unfortunately...
