I really enjoyed this place. They were great. Many Latin restaurants and stores I've been to have been very uncomfortable; no one speaks English and employees have often given me looks like "what are you doing here, you don't belong," have been very unhelpful with attitudes like "learn Spanish or get out," and sometimes have been just short of hostile. I've even been to several places were I saw and/or heard employees speaking English but then had them refuse to speak English with me when I needed help. Experiences like that have been so common for me that I began avoiding Latin/hispanic establishments unless my fiance was with me (fiance is from South America). This place was nothing like that. Some employees speak English, some Spanish, some both, and regardless of language everyone was very friendly! It's a great blend of people and languages, the way things should be, without all the animosity that I've found to be so common in other establishments. The prices are also really good, making it a great place to go if you have a large family to feed. All 4 dishes we got were delicious. The place doesn't look like much, kind of eclectic and hodge-podge, but the open welcome and clean environment, friendly helpful staff, great prices, and delicious food make it well worth a visit, if not...
Read moreSo, the best part was the bathrooms. They’re nice and clean and QUITE . I almost preferred to have my meal there bc it was separate from the eating area…where there were 2 different families that allowed their young infants to cry/yell. It was that high pitched ear-piercing screeching sound…
There was a bit of a wait after we ordered but it wasn’t so bad. We weren’t crazy starving and the place was really full. Every table was taken. The waitress was fine. Not super friendly or chatty so no complaints with that.
And after the wait fir our food and the mind numbing piercing sounds of super loud excessive chatter and infants being whiny and unattended to our food arrived.
It was yummy 😋 The Texas plate was done just right. Carne guisada was hot and tender and had good flavor and so did the enchiladas. We also had an asada Quesadilla plate. Again, good flavor and really delightful.
Were it not for the noise and crabby babies s it would have been really nice. Will visit again in 2035 when those whiny babies have grown up or when their parents have grown up and learned how to be considerate of...
Read moreHave come here several times for breakfast tacos for co-workers and myself, today when we opened them, we noticed the bacon was soggy and watery. I called and spoke to a lady who had me wait like 10 minutes, I finally hung up and called again. She told me to take the tacos so they could see them, I told her I couldn't because I was at work. I asked her if they were going to replace them and she gave the phone to Joe, who said he can see the bacon and that it is not raw, it may be soggy but not raw. I told him it was very soggy and made the egg watery. I asked if they were going to do anything about it and he stayed quiet. I asked if he was the manager and he said no, manager is not in until 9 am. I feel this is very unprofessional behavior, if a customer is unsatisfied with the product you make, then the you should try to make it right. We will definitely not...
