I was originally coming here to write a negative review due to the bad experience we had with manager Nathan. They charged us for our dipping sauces which we never got then they completely forgot to give us a whole entire order so we called the Whataburger and Nathan told us if we brought the receipt in just to put his name on it and circled the items that were missing. I went in and totally forgot my receipt I had explain to Nathan I had just gotten off of work I don’t do bad business I’m a business owner myself I had spoke with him yesterday on the phone about everything that happened and he was completely rude saying that well there was nothing they could do about not having the receipt after I had personally spoke with him on the phone the day before. He was pushing out his chest trying to intimidate me which number one completely unprofessional .I told him I have my own business I would never treat customers this way why would I go in there and try to get free food . After a few minutes of a heated confrontation of going back-and-forth with this extremely rude and unprofessional manager. Tara The other on-site manager came and completely D escalated the suit situation with the upmost professional customer service. During that time I did find my receipt to show it to them that I did purchase food from Whataburger the day before and was missing the order. Tara then explained to me that she was very sorry for the actions of Nathan. As well as the surrounding employees were also very apologetic. I even offered Tara $100 tip to split between her and the employees just for her amazing customer service she then stated that she would not take the money because it was not right and the customer is always right . Initially we were going to call corporate and explain to them how unprofessional this Whataburger was along with forgetting the food we ordered . But she completely handled the situation with the upmost respect and professionalism. Changing a mind to leave a five star review for this Whataburger because managers like that deserve to be recognized thank you again Tara for de escalating the situation after a long day that we had just wanting to get our order correct. If you do order from this Whataburger please do check your order before you leave and pray that you don’t have to deal with Manager Nathan. If any problems please try to speak to Tara the other manager. Hope nobody ever hast to deal with that unprofessional...
Read moreI came here two days ago by myself around 12:45pm and the restaurant was very busy. Probably around 20-25 people in the store and the drive thru was full. I got inside and was behind 3 people when they opened another register for cards only. Since the people ahead of me were paying cash I was able to skip the line. I ordered a number 1 with mustard, mayo and ketchup. I ordered it with no pickles and no drink but instead a large fry. The girl taking my order was not paying attention to my order and seemed to be a little flustered. I swiped my card and then realized she rang me up for a large onion ring. A lot of whataburger’s food is good but one item I think they need improvement on is their onion rings. So I told the cashier that I wanted a large fry not onion rings. She didn’t know how to refund the item so she got a manager. I suppose the most annoying thing about my visit was that the manager said to the cashier (not even to me) that there is only a 50cent difference and we will get him (me) a large fry. This irritated me because I work in fast-food for basically minimum wage and I have bills to pay and save every nickle and dime I can. I decided to go with the onion rings. Food came out quickly considering the amount of people in-house and in the drive-thru. My hamburger had pickles in it and no onions. I took out the pickles and decided not to do anything about it. I would say customer-service wise it was a below-average experience. I want to mention that the restaurant was very clean despite how busy they were. I’ll probably come back here again but when they are not busy. And next time I will review my entire order before...
Read moreI love my whataburger I love my job. Especially with my co workers. To read these comments makes me think. I've seen how someone complains and questions managers who play with kids over a cinnamon roll? This is a family enviorment. Everyone who works and goes to whataburger is considerd part of a whatafamily. So I dont think a manager should feel bad when they are making another family feel welcomed especially there kids. Another people dont understand is when whataburger gets crowded and full its hard to hear customers who are in drive. Ive been in drive a couple of times and once ive had to ask a customer to repeat what they said because I really couldnt understand them. Its not considerd rude to ask someone to repeat to get there order 100% right. They could have skipped what they could not hear and get your oder wrong. Another thing I have read the whataburger I work when it closes, closes at a specific time. Its been open 24/7. But, holidays it does obviously close so the workers can go see there own familys. Which I guess many people do not realize they have. When ive read about someone who arrived at 11:32 ect. And to me everyone has been friendly to the customers. My whatafamilys always ontop but when theres alot of orders people get mad that someones order was ahead of them. But anyways knowing my whataburger how it actually is. I...
