June 2025 Visited Milano's today during the lunch hour in honor of father's day. I had made reservations about a week ago, just in case they were busy. When we arrived, we were quickly greeted, and seated as our table was prepared in advance. Our server, Alex, took very good care of us the entire time we were at the restaurant.
I reviewed the lunch menu and ordered my favorite dish, the grilled chicken with pasta (note I normally I order angel hair pasta with a butter garlic sauce) and a traditional house salad with their dressing accompanies the meal.
Alex brought us out of their homemade bread, and some water. I ordered ice tea for my beverage. I will note that they do have a traditional bar, and also have several beers to serve.
Our house salad arrived, which was very tasty and that was followed by our food orders. Everything was prepared as I expected and very, very good. We finished off the lunch by ordering some of their homemade tiramisu for dessert.
Overall, very, very good lunch. Looking forward to returning soon, and I do hope that if you decide to visit Milano's that your experiencing is as good or better than mine.
Pictures added to collection.
April 2025 First time visiting Milano's for dinner and many, many years. I decided to do this pre-Easter ... so, if you're going to take this approach, I will always recommend making reservations for dinner here.
We arrived and were seated within our reservation time. Our server, Valerie, took very good care of us duringour visit. She initially took our drink orders, of which I ordered a Peroni beer. She then took our dinner orders. We usually visit for lunch and were looking for the grilled chicken dish, which is not on the dinner menu, unfortunately. After several questions, we decided on the Chicken Picatta, pizza, and shrimp Milano's, In hindsight we should have tried the grilled chicken with capers to replace our favorite grilled chicken dish.
All of the the food prepared was very good. The dinners come with a salad. Again, in my opinion, the lunch menu house dressing is much better than the dinner salad house dressing. As for the main course, while I'm not used to having chicken picatta, it was still delicious along with the accompanying angel hair pasta.
For dessert, our group decided to split a order of Tiramisu. I know they make it here fresh and it's very good. It is also one of my favorite desserts at this restaurant.
I hope if you decide to visit this restaurant your visit and experience is as good as mine.
Again, in my opinion, I'll probably go back to visiting during the lunch hour because I know they have the grilled chicken dish and salad dressing...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if that were an option. We arrived at 7:05pm to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were seated, asked if we would like the wine list, when we said no thank you, he promptly left our table without asking if we would like anything else to drink or providing us with a menu. We enjoyed visiting while I tried catching the eye of any waiter, even raised my hand a few times to the bartender and another two waiters passing by, no one was at all concerned about our table (which was sitting practically in the middle of the restaurant). We had no idea who our waiter was so we could ask for service. By 7:45 the same man that seated us finally returned (Aha! He must also be our waiter!). He again asked if we wanted the wine list, when we said no thank you, he once again immediately walked away, he didn't wait to ask if we would like anything else (tea, a soft drink?), again he left no menu, no bread with the yummy garlic butter, no specials were described, he just walked off. There were only 4 tables occupied in the entire place and several waiters, so this wasn't a case of being busy. We then watched our waiter joyfully deliver a bill to the couple next to us, and check on the other couple that was finishing their meal, while he still refused to glance our way. We finally just got up and left. I was more apt to complain, my husband didn't want our special evening ruined by me getting upset, he thought it best for us to just leave. On our way out, no one came to intersect us in the lobby or ask why we were leaving. I have been eating at Milano's since it opened over 20 years ago, along with my entire family. Dear friends that eat there often gave us this night as a gift to celebrate our very special wedding anniversary. I will never return. The staff doesn't seem particularly concerned with service. I called the following day at 11:00am to speak to a manager and receiving only "The manager isn't in, you'll have to call back." No offer to take a message or ask how I could be helped. It was our anniversary, we picked a "special place" to celebrate, we were in a great mood, this experience slightly dampened the celebration as we now found ourselves driving around trying to find another place to eat. We ended up eating at Longhorn Steakhouse. Certainly not at all what we were looking for as far as dining quality or ambiance, but at least our waiter was fabulous, attentive and genuinely polite. And, he didn't have any problem offering us a tea or soda when we said no thank you to...
Read moreI Have to say that this place is devine! The décor is lovely, a Victorian feel with antiques everywhere. I ordered some food from the lunch menu through one of the waiters, Leonardo "; friendly and prompt. I waited near the front & was asked if I wanted water or something to drink while I waited!! I asked if the restaurant offered/supported Military discount? In which the waitor politely replied they didn't! Not completely surprised, I headed towards the front to sit down on the gorgeous victorian style couch. My wait wasn't that long & once my food arrived, it was all nicely bagged and ready to go. Leonardo said there is salad and bread inside and I smiled surprised but pleased. I thanked him and paid the bill which for two people was a great price for lunch. I tipped him and went on my way. Heading home, the car filled up with a scrumptious aroma. I brought in our lunch for two for my husband and I. He was pleased as much as I & enjoyed the food, price and all. I ordered him the mahi mahi with angel hair pasta and the chicken piccata for myself! They came with two side salads with house dressing and fresh baked bread! I honestly was happy with my meal and my husband appeared to enjoy his also, he had to of because he ate his entire meal...I would have to rate thus lovely little Italian restaurant a 4 out of 5 because it was just a to go experience but a good one at that! And in my opinion, it was the best Italian I had enjoyed out in awhile! I Definitely recommend it especially for lunch! I would return too which is always a good thing!!
