Went in today with some friends to have a little fun. We go in often and know several of the waitresses. Everything was good until we had 2 watered down drinks and asked for some new ones from one of the bartenders who made the first original drinks. Apparently by asking her to make us more drinks that annoyed her and she complained to her supervisor about us. She never retuned with new drinks and just ignored us. So the other bartender who made the watered down drinks made us drinks but this time we asked for less ice and stronger. Which she did and we continued to drink. It became a whole entire situation where the manager of the bartender who is a woman started running her mouth with the first bartender who was offended by us. We ended up talking to an older manager and explained the situation and we thought everything was fine but the woman manager of the bartenders went above and beyond to escalate the situation. She is a horrible manager and instead of coming over and asking us directly if we were ok with the drinks like a good manager would, she chose to argue and call a different manager from the back to get involved. When the third manager came over I tried to explain to him why happened and the bartender handed the checks over to him so we could pay. It continued to escalate with the third manager involved and in the end the bartender ruined it for herself and the other bartender with her because nobody got tipped after...

Ojos Locos is great, if you want it to be great. Punto final!
If you want beer, 7-11 is on the corner. Have fun. If you want atmosphere, put on your smile and diviertanse.
I've visited this place a few times, and I have seen the difference in treatment. Take into account the uniforms for the wait staff, and then understand the pressure they are under to make their pay. Happy people make getting around easy in any service job, and it is so easy for folks to not smile, not acknowledge, and not interact favorably with the servers because they dismiss the character of the individual based on what they are wearing.
I've observed this in both male and female patrons.
My wife loves this place because of the atmosphere. Lively. Loud. Cold beer. Cheersđș!
I don't like the wings. For some reason, they don't hit the spot. That is a sore spot for me. I'll try something else next time, but I really go out for the wings. Then again, this place is built more for drinking than eating.
I have another complaint, but it's about choice and scruples. Every time I've gone, young children have been there with their parents or some sort of adult. I believe that because they serve food, underaged kids are allowed, but sometimes exclusivity benefits the populace.
Al fin, do I recommend visiting for...
Read moreFirst off, this place is in South San Antonio but we were still shocked to encounter 3 armed and in full vests officers as soon as you step in. This was at 6pm on a Monday. After getting searched, we got off to a decent start, even though there was a wait once we were seated. The waitress was awesome and made sure we didnât need anything. Theyâre still fairly new so some hiccups were expected. Decent atmosphere, the music was a little too loud where you could barely hear each other towards the end. We ordered the salad and there was a large piece of plastic in the salad. The manager came and told us he would take it off and we could order something else. We werenât too excited to order something else but he assured us we could order something else so we ordered some tacos. Apparently, it was a âmiscommunicationâ and we still paid for those tacos. After bringing it to his attention, he said he just took our salad off but the tacos were not on him. We werenât looking to get our whole meal comped but i feel we were misled to oder more food that we werenât interested in after finding plastic in the initial...
