📍 Buffalo Wild Wings – Nighttime Bartender Experience
Me and a few coworkers decided to stop by Buffalo Wild Wings after a long shift for some appetizers and drinks before heading out. We were in good spirits, ready to relax—until we were introduced to what I can only describe as the bartender from hell. It was so bad we half-expected John Quiñónez to come out and say, “What Would You Do?”
Let me be clear: we were incredibly polite to her from the moment we sat down, despite how shockingly rude and dismissive she was to us. Honestly, we were afraid that if we spoke up or pushed back even a little, the situation would escalate further. So we just stayed respectful, even though her behavior didn’t deserve it.
She got almost everything wrong. Two of my coworkers weren’t even charged—which they were happy about, but I believe it was a mistake, not kindness. I had to ask five times for a simple glass of water. On the fifth attempt, I jokingly said, “My throat is parched,” quoting a movie line—and her response was, “Drugs will do that to you.” Completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and offensive.
She told us she’d been there for nine years, which made me think: Has she been treating guests like this for nearly a decade? That’s alarming.
We came in planning to take advantage of the $15 unlimited appetizers deal. She corrected us (rudely) and said it was $10, which was fine—but only one of our orders actually came out. When I kindly reminded her that my friends never received their appetizers, her response was, “What do you want me to do? Go back there and yell at the cooks?” At that point, everyone at the bar turned and stared. It was that shocking.
Her hostility made it nearly impossible for anyone to ask for anything. My coworkers were literally afraid to request refills or even speak to her. The guest next to us even complained that he had been waiting 25 minutes for a second beer.
Eventually, a manager came over. He seemed polite at first and tried to make things right by offering us a round of shots. Two of my coworkers accepted, but I politely declined. After that, the manager turned away from me and only addressed the two who accepted the shots—he shook their hands, apologized to them, and ignored me completely. He even rang up the shots in the POS system… but guess what? The bartender (yes, her) was responsible for making them, and they never arrived.
At the end of the night, when it was time to pay, the chaos continued. I glanced at my bill and just paid it, desperate to get out of there. Later, in the car, one of my friends told me, “She put my stuff on your tab.” That explained the higher total, but by that point we were gone and I had no energy left to go back and argue.
This whole experience left a bad taste in all our mouths—not because of one small issue, but because it was nonstop rudeness from the second we walked in to the moment we left. Every interaction with this bartender was filled with disrespect, sarcasm, and a complete lack of customer service.
What pushed me to write this was finding out that a family member had a nearly identical experience—with the same bartender. So this isn’t just a one-time bad night. It’s a pattern.
I understand Buffalo Wild Wings is a national chain and won’t lose sleep over a single complaint, but if this behavior is allowed to continue, they’re going to lose more customers than they realize.
To anyone reading this: if you go at night and end up sitting at the bar—beware. If you’re in a good mood, this bartender will ruin it. Customers deserve respect and decent service—nothing more, nothing less.
To the staff and management: Please do better. If this is how your team represents your brand, something is seriously broken. You owe it to every guest to provide the kind of service the CEO of your company would expect if they walked in.
I’ve said my piece. I genuinely hope this review is taken seriously.

Then we finally got seated and placed our order got our drinks in time but the food took over 45 minutes to get there the waitress checked in after the first 30 minutes and said just waiting on fries another 15 minutes passed she brought our food except the fries and said they're still not ready but I didn't want thw food to get cold then finally came with the fries about 8 minutes after that. Honestly the waitress seemed to be the only one moving around the others were hiding or standing around making faces of just not wanting to be there. This was the worst experience ever here and it had been a long while since we came out for the same reason because they always seem like the customer is bother not just me but for others as well. It's ridiculous. Just me and my husband $70 plus a tip to be treated like this is just a no when I could literally buy the stuff to make it for less than half of what we spend to come out and not deal with people that don't even try to seem like they like their job. I don't know if this is just how people are now a days or if maybe management sucks and employees thus just don't care or what but something needs to change! I for one will not be back again would rather make my own and spend less or maybe go to wingstop or any other wing place available. Also place is dirty floors are sticky restrooms are dirty and smelly. Oh also when we got our food we didn't even get trays to serve our selves just the tray the wing come on like dang literally everything sucked. Food taste was not good or bad just fair so not even worth it to be treated like crap and at least food be great but nope not even...
Read moreWent Last Tues evening and I had never had a bad experience like the one that night. We got there and the host was friendly and sat is quickly. It took the waitress almost 15 to co e take our drink order. While ordering our drinks(all water) I asked the waitress to put in an order of mac n cheese as soon as possible. Another 15min or so go by and the waitress finally brings our drinks and the Mac.. we ask for lemons and the waitress leaves. My kids take a bite of the macand it's cold as if it was just pulled out of the fridge we wave the waitress back and tell her about the issue. She takes our order as well and reads it back to us. 10min go by and she bring the Mac back which is the same exact mac we sent back they did not give us a fresh serving and still no lemons. The wings come out and I noticed that one of the flavors is incorrect I proceed to tell the waitress and she swears that it's correct and that they carry lemon pepper in a wet sauce and leaves. I tasted it and it was garlic parmasean. Those were the only wings that actually came sauced all the others were super dry w very little sauce on them. One of the flavors were dry and the sauce thrown under all the wings. The waitress finally comes back and we tell her about the wings being incorrect and she proceeded to tell us that's what she had written down even tho it not what she read back to us. We asked her to get us lemon pepper wings since one of my kids hadn't eaten she said she would put a rush. 30 min later she comes back and without the wings so we ask for them to go and the check. At this point she asks us if we want a refill even tho we were out of water when she came to the table the second time. I honestly cannot believe the service and the horrible food that was served to us. We will definitely not be going back in the...
