Update
My last review of this place was about 3 yrs ago. The world has been turned upside down since then. I texted my Partner to see if they wanted Subway for dinner and they went to the Valley Hi location on their way home. We've seen commercials for their refresh and nope. Maybe it was a bad day or whatever who knows? I ordered a footlong un toasted turkey sandwich and the toppings were wilted and soggy. (Tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, onion & spinach) The bread was stale. This was around 6:00 p.m. so maybe that had something to do with it? I asked for mustard on the sandwich and they put it in between the ingredients not on the bread. Is this a new trend I don't know about? I worked in a deli for over 12 years and I always put the condiments on the bread unless requested otherwise which it never was. Partner had the cold cut combo toasted. They liked their sandwich but all it had was meat and cheese at their request. Don't get me wrong the sandwich looks good but the taste was not. If in the area, sometimes we'd come here and the sandwiches would be okay. I guess I'll give it a couple more tries to see if this experience was a one-off or if that's just the way it is now.
Staff was friendly enough and got orders right but had a valid coupon and cashier claims not to have seen it and was charged full price. They said there was no to apply the discount afterwards. She said they'll honor it next time even if the...
Read moreI went in for the 1st time hoping to get some subs to go as I was in a hurry. It was a Friday night around 8:30pm. The place was really clean and quite. There were four customers in front of me and only ONE employee working. It took a half hour to get my subs. I dont blame the employee one bit though. He was working his butt off and honestly he is the ONLY reason I'm even giving any stars. I feel bad for that kid because he said he works every Friday by himself...that's ridiculous!! (He didn't complain or anything...I was asking him if this was his typical schedule and he was simply responding to me) Management should be ashamed though to have this kid working by himself every Friday knowing darn well it's going to be super busy. I'm sure he was overwhelmed, but he still had a great attitude and made our subs perfectly. This kid seriously needs a raise for what he has to deal with every Friday. The owner should be ashamed and stop being cheap and hire more employees. In the end he's just hurting his business and reputation because I saw people walk out because the line was so long. You're losing business and will probably even end up losing an incredible employee because he's overworked and probably underpaid. Get it...
Read moreI would just like to point out the lady with the review below was in subway all of 3 mins before writting a review, i was in line behind her. How can you possibly write a bad review when you hadn't even ordered yet??? How do you know the employee was rude? She was helping the gentlemen in front of you which by the way said this was one of the best subways around... And it is. So what they only have 1 employee during the slow hours thats all you need. I have no problem waiting in line for 10 mins because my sub is always right, the employees actully care about their customers, 90 % military in and out all day,...
