Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in San Antonio

I visited this location 2 days ago. Without a doubt it was the worst fast food experience I've had. First when I pulled up there was nobody else in the drive thru. The woman who was a manager told me they were low on food but if I could wait 16 minutes my order would be fresh. I did have to go to work but I could wait 16 minutes. I parked and decided to go inside to wait. My receipt time read 4:31 there was raw chicken flour on the counter and the floor the whole work station was in disarray the young woman assisting took a box to the frying station put food in it and left it sitting open while the manager shook her raw chicken right next to it before dropping it in the fryer. At 4:55 I asked for a refund because it had been well over 16 minutes and I couldn't wait anymore. The woman assured me all she needed was 2 more minutes and I would be right out the door 8 minutes later still no food. Again I requested a refund I really had to go. The woman agreed but then walked away and went on about her business. I had to raise my voice and demand that she come give me my money back now so I could leave l had to go to work. End result I spent 33 minutes at this location I left without a single piece of food nor was I offered a single apology and my family didn't get dinner before I...

I would give a 1/4 star if I could. This place. How can I say this.... because I know all of it isnt the employees fault. As far as flavor, and items no longer on menu, price all that is company. Anyway, my husband ordered chicken, rice and beans (no dirty rice) and something else they were out of at 11 am said nothing just put something else in place of what he ordered. I ordered shrimp. Just shrimp. No sides. My husband had ask if they were going to charge us full price without sides. Just leave the sides on. We got our drinks, the unsweetened tea was I dont know if the dispenser is not being cleaned properly, or if unsweetened tea doesn't sell as fr as fast and they dont realize it goes bad. It sours. Which it was.the lemonade was out. So I ended up with a sprite. My husband a coke. Our food . He ask if they were using pigeons. They were more quail pieces, not chicken. And $8. Or $9. The shrimp was in a rice and beans container. $5. I was taught by a cajun chef to make authentic cajun food, and I make it often. We were running errands and stopped at popeyes. I pulled up to the drivethru at 8:36. 1 car was ahead of me. I ordered one very simple thing: an order of chicken tenders with fries. My receipt says my order was registered at 8:42. I pulled up to the window and sat there until 8:53 when the cashier finally acknowledged me to tell me that the chicken was going to take at least another 10 minutes because they had to turn on a fryer. I get it - sometimes you want to get the kitchen cleaned up early and get home early, but this place closes at 10pm. I'd understand if I pulled in at 9:59pm. But I pulled up an hour and a half until closing time and they had already shut down the kitchen and failed to tell/warn me when I ordered. I spent literally over 30 minutes total sitting in the drivethru with only one person ahead of me. I received my food at 9:08. And of course, my fries and biscuit were cold and hard as a rock when I got them. And the chicken wasn't undercooked. And they didn't include BBQ sauce that I specifically asked for.
