Me and femme get coffee and kolaches. All predictably regular and calm like any strip mall coffee shop then WHAM all the scorn and disdain left over from what tree-protester movements used to paint the walkways of the world is lobbed at my girlfriend and I because I didn't realize their little stickers on the counter weren't free....

I have never stolen anything from a coffee shop in my life, much less a -sticker- but you'd swear I ripped a piece of stucco out of the ceiling of the sistine chapel with how aggressssssssively rude the staff acted when I said I'd pay for it on the way out. One of the counter girls literally goes to the back and gets the manager to usher me up to the cashier box while I'm mid conversation sitting on their very stiff sofa chairs with my girlfriend. The only reason I didn't eat their sticker (which sadly was too big for my phone), throw my coffee at the ceiling and start angry breakdancing was that I know my lady hates public conflict and I'm not even that good a breakdancer

I have been to enough 'my-dissertation-on-kant-is-smarter-than-yours' coffee dens over the years to have a decent amount of patience with the managerial demographics of these spots, but noooo amount of practice could have prepared me for the sheer absurdity of this morning. very curb your enthusiasm kind of day

In all seriousness, I am the kind of guy who will go back into a restaurant to order again because i see a hungry person on the curb outside. Never one to intentionally take bread out of someone's mouth, much less an artist...

If you can spell "macchiato," can't you spell "a-c-c-i-d-e-n-t?"

Good lavender latte...

Stay away from this place (both locations) if you want to show up there and ask for a sandwich only to be told that they have already sold out their day’s quota and cannot sell tomorrow’s supply because the owner gets really upset, and that is their policy. We first went to their West Ave location two weeks ago on our way to get a massage (very close to them). We ate a sandwich and a quick-like dish. They were good but nothing to write home about. The following week we were on Broadway and saw they were there, too, so we went in to ask for coffee and sandwiches only to be told they had one sandwich even though we saw more in their fridge. When we asked, the girl said it was the strict policy of their owner to not sell the supply of the following day and that they get really upset. We just could not believe what we heard and just figured it was an Alamo Heights snob thing. Today, we went to get massages again near the West Ave location and went in again to get sandwiches and coffee only to be told the same by the manager at that location.

We have traveled many places in the world and all the states, and NEVER had we been told that a restaurant, fast food, coffee shop etc. would not sell their supply because they would keep it for the next day’s business.

Save your money, time, gas, and expectations and definitely take them somewhere else in this big town with all the coffee...

Was super excited to try this place and anxiously awaiting for them to open, but unfortunately when we finally went in I found myself disappointed with the experience. The barista was so nice, but the lady who took my order acted like I was an inconvenience to be in there. I didn’t feel very welcomed. Sad too cause this just opened right by my house and I was looking forward to a new coffee shop. Also the coffee was just okay. Not the worst, but definitely not what I expected from a local coffee shop for that price.

Edit: Owner responded and it feels a little back handed and condescending. I wasn’t the person who asked about if the beans were roasted. I literally don’t even know who you’re talking about. You barely even talked to me at all so I kept it short and easy. I was respectful the whole time and just came in, ordered my drink and expressed my exact experience with it. I wasn’t upset or mad at all. Just putting up a review. I would’ve given another chance especially with how close you are to me, but that response felt demeaning and assuming who I was. Switched from 3 to 1 star. That response told me all I needed to know about...

I started my day with a drive to PRESS Coffee on Broadway but discovered a closer location instead. I was incredibly relieved and impressed by how calming and serene it was. If you haven't visited this PRESS location, I guarantee that stepping through the doors will envelop you in a profound sense of tranquility. The interior is stunning and spotless. From the plants and soothing music to the seating and the delightful aroma of coffee, everything was perfect. My partner and I enjoyed an Americano, a Cortado, Coffee Cake, and a Pecan Bar. I highly recommend the Coffee Cake - it was delicious and surprisingly had pecans. Yum! With ample parking and both indoor and outdoor seating options, the atmosphere is ideal. The lighting is just right, and the variety of seating - from chairs and benches to couches and wall benches - adds to the comfort. The light, soothing music, and the warm presence of the plants complete the experience. PRESS Coffee is perfect for working, handling finances, a date, or catching up with friends.

Decided to come by and check out Press Coffee location on West Ave and Blanco Rd. Inside the store, there was some amazing art and liked how balanced everything looked inside. I paid for a large coffee and went to sit down to wait for my coffee. 5 minutes had passed and then 10 minutes passed and no coffee yet. Walked by the counter just in case it was there but it wasn't. I waited by the counter for another 5 minutes until staff saw me and they discussed something privately and then got my coffee ready to drink. Afterwards, as I was sitting down trying to relax but I just had an uneasy feeling like I was being stared at with needles so I decided to leave. Coffee is ok, I would give it a 6 out of 10 but just didn't feel welcomed there.

Brand new and beautiful inside. Perfect for groups and individuals. The right side (street side) gets pounded with AC so great spot for a hot summer day. Big open windows allow for much needed sun light just like loc. 1. Unique furnishing with metal table tops. Is it as unique as the first location no but they found a way to give this one just as much character. The triangle shaped shelving in the center is a vague resemblance to the first location. It is on brand. Coffee is more on the acidic side for me still delicious. Very traditional in a sense of variety. Okay pastries best one is the Nutella bread. Free Wi-Fi wish we had more plugs for charging. Friendly staff. Outside seating is well kept. Parking is enough.
