I’m a VERY SATISIFIED customer!!!! My story is this: I own a 2003 Honda Pilot and I love my car but I had been having problems with getting my key into my ignition. I would have to wiggle the key for a long time sometimes up to 1 hour before I could get it into the ignition. I took my car to the Honda dealership and was quoted an outrageous amount to have it fixed. So, I left the dealership thinking "what am I going to do now"? I was very discouraged. After calling a mobile auto repair person that I have used for other issues on my vehicle, I was still in the same boat. The auto repair person tried very hard but got to a point and could not figure out the problem. So, a friend of mine mentioned calling a mobile locksmith. I got online and called several mobile locksmith businesses to get quotes. I then made a decision to go with a certain mobile locksmith. I must say all of the quotes were very similar so I just chose one that I remembered feeling comfortable with on the phone. Next, I spoke with the scheduling personnel who was a very pleasant man and made an appointment. He sent out the technician the next morning as I requested. Samuel, the technician, called me before he left to come to my house and explained how Honda ignitions are very hard to work on and we discussed the prices I had gotten from the dealership to repair my problem. He seemed very professional and knowledgeable on the phone about Honda ignitions and I felt very comfortable with our conversation. We had also discussed all of my options that I had to fix the problem. I decided to have Samuel come on to my home. He was very cordial when he arrived and got right to business. Samuel would also show me what he was doing at certain times during his repair. Also, he filled out the invoice before he started working on my ignition which I certainly appreciated because there were NO SURPRISES in the end. No big bill that I was not going to be aware of. I am soooo happy that I chose S.A. Locksmith & Security to repair my ignition key problem. Samuel was pleasant, kind, and got the job done. The lock on the front door of our office building jammed on a Sunday night, and we weren't able to access the building. I called S.A. Locksmith & Security, and the dispatcher told me that a locksmith would be calling within a short time. She quoted a price of $15 for the call and $40 for the unlocking. About 15-20 minutes later, we got a call, and a young man in a white van showed up shortly. It took him less than a minute to open the door, sliding a knife-like tool between the door and door jamb (wish we would have thought of that--would have saved us $152.00). He told us the lock was old, rusted, and no good any more, and offered to replace it for $250 plus $150 labor; and if it jammed, it might run up to $600. We politely declined. He filled out the invoice (#813790--just so you know this is not a competitor writing a phony review), and we were shocked to see that he charged us $152.00 for less than 5 minutes' work.

The next day, we called our regular locksmith, Accurate Lock & Key, which is owned by a retired policeman. He told us that there really wasn't anything wrong with the front door lock, but replaced it anyway, and re-keyed two other locks to match. He worked for two hours and charged us less than $150. He suggested that if we ever had a lockout after hours, we should call Access Key & Security. Wish we'd known....

UPDATE, September 16: I received a call from the owner of S.A. Locksmith & Security last Friday. He left a message on my phone, saying that he was concerned that we weren't satisfied with the service, and that he would try reaching me again the following Wednesday. Sure enough, I heard from him today, as promised.

He asked what he could do to make it right. I told him that a $50 refund would bring the price we paid for an after-hours lockout to a more reasonable $100, and that we would be quite satisfied with that. Instead, he refunded our credit card for $95, which he said would match the price we were quoted over the phone. He apologized for the incident and said that the young man who came out wasn't following their company policy and should have told us upfront what the charge would be.

I highly recommend SA Locksmith as they provided me the best reasoniibly priced service I can honestly say I have received in a long time. I contacted them on a Sunday afternoon when my chip key for my Toyota Corolla unexpectedly broke and I found myself in the most terrible situation. I was in a state of panic as I did not know who to contact or what to do to resolve this issue as I was unable to drive my only means of transportation. I contacted several businesses and not only did they provided me with a over priced quote over the phone but they also did not make me feel assured that they would be able to assist me once they arrived and looked at the issue I was having with the only key I had for my car. The price I was quoted was exactly what they said it would be as it is highly unlikely that most businesses once they arrive and notice that you are in a very difficult situation honor the price you were given. SA Locksmith made me feel confident that the service tI was promised would be completed and not only were they extremely helpful but informative as well. They arrived at the estimated time I was given since I was stranded outside a business parking lot not knowing what to do on a Sunday when most places I contacted said they would arrive until a few hours later or most likely not be able to help me until the following day.in spite of the fact that they advertised 24 hour service. I needed to go to work early the following morning therefore I could not wait that long since I relied on my vehicle to arrive to work on my scheduled time. SA Locksmith restored the confidence I had lost in the service industry as most businesses these days do not treat you as a customer they treat you as a paycheck.
