I had recently seen Encino Farmer's Market on Facebook and noticed that it's very close to me. Last Sunday, my husband and I headed over there to check things out.
Renee's Twisted Chocolates was the last tent for us to visit on our way out. Chocolates always stops me dead in my tracks so I was definitely curious to find out what's so special about this one. It was great to hear that Sidney named his business after his Mom. He had a wide array of different types of chocolates but I was most interested in dark chocolate. The 75% Semuliki Forest captured my attention because he mentioned the chocolate was sourced from Uganda and I had never had chocolate from there before. He gave us a small piece to try and I was sold. The other one I got was the 75% Cranberry Dark which is Semuliki Forest with cranberries.
What I noticed on the packaging after I got home is that both do not contain dairy so it's good for vegans!
