This store skips over customers, not because of their online orders, but because they are unorganized and rude. I voiced that we didn't recieve our order 3 times over 30 minutes and other customers got theirs in five minutes, who came in after us. Terrible service.

This is in response to the owner's reply: I could understand to go orders and online orders taking precedence, but the problem was that the workers kept claiming that they were still decorating our bowl, and then another employee clocks in to swap out with the current employee, and we are still waiting for the bowl. 10 more minutes pass, and people are still coming in and out , we are the only people in there and after nearly 45 minutes I tell them again we haven't received the bowl and their excuse was "this didn't happen on MY shift" so the order wasn't even passed on, but they claim they are decorating the bowl still. Yet they call us two minutes later asking "what was your bowl again?" How could a business continuously claim to still be working on an order, then have to be reminded of what exactly that order even was? They did not care. The vibe was bad and they never even apologized. Just had an excuse for everything. Had a finger...

Not sure what the point of ordering ahead of time if when I arrived they said they didn’t even have my order. Then he finally finds it and says they JUST got it in. I had arrived 11 minutes past my “ready” time. I usually arrive later to give them time incase they are busy but my order wasn’t even started. They aren’t exactly apologetic or even welcoming so that definitely didn’t help. It wasn’t busy either. There was 2 tables occupied. I’ve resisted leaving a bad review from the last 3 times I had horrible service here but they just consistently have bad service now. They had a specific girl w caterpillar eye lashes that’s always extremely rude and I found a hair at the bottom of my bowl another time. I called to let them know and I declined when they offered me another free bowl. He seemed annoyed that I was calling it in when I didn’t want anything. I was calling to let them know to just be more mindful and maybe wear a hair net. I knew the hair wasn’t mine because I had green hair at the time. Anyways, the service here sucks which is too bad because even though their prices keep going up, the bowls were great. I guess go here if you don’t mind being treated like an...

Update: it looks like much of my concerns have been addressed in the most recent times I’ve come back! Their health score is now a 99 so it seems they took those issues seriously, the wait time for me hasn’t been terribly wrong, and some of their new employees (or at least new to me) seem to have good customer service skills. Happy to recommend them!

I’ve always loved the Acai bowls themselves and I don’t have any complaints with those, I think they’re fair with their portions and the amount of toppings and granola they put in the bowls are great!

Service is hit or miss, at times the employees are good and on top of things, other times there’s no one at the counter for a while and a line stacks up.

The wait time most of the time is pretty atrocious and unless there’s no one else ordering in front of you expect to wait 20+ minutes for a bowl.

Lastly I saw that their score for the health and safety inspection was pretty low compared to other establishments (86/100 at the time of writing). This is concerning especially after reading through the COSA website what they were dinged for.

Writing this review because I do like Rise Up and I want to see them make...

When I tell y’all this is the best acai bowl I have ever had it would be a huge understatement.these bowls have made my little toes curl up so much y’all have no idea how good these bowls are. I have tried acai bowls from the city, from Austin and even New York City. None have come close to being this good. For starters the fruit is chopped up and not the canned ones that most places use. The honey mixed in is so phenomenal. AND THE PORTIONS ARE SO BIG, for a big bowl the prices are so good and the extra toppings aren’t that much. Y’all these bowls rn are so good I take a picture each time I eat one because it’s that’s good. I cry every time I think about this place because I feel like I’m so lucky to be alive at the same time this establishment is here. The people are nice too they never ever given me attitude. They coo. But lord have mercy when I tell y’all I be grabbing the chair handles to hold myself it’s insane.

Oh Rise up. I really wish you would rise up. Their acai bowls and coffee are absolutely fabulous. You can order online and customize it and it’s fabulous! I absolutely love the PB one and add in protein powder. What kills me is the service. Yikes. It’s unfortunate because their food is just as good as their service is bad. Sometimes I’ll get lucky, when it’s pretty quiet, and will get my food 10-15 minutes after ordering. But most of the time, I order online, they estimate my food to be ready in 20 minutes and it comes out 40 minutes later. I’m not sure if they only have one blender, but me and the other 5-10 people waiting in line with their arms crossed aren’t impressed. So definitely give it a try- I just would order before you get hungry because you’ll be starving by the time it’s ready.
