Rosario's Mexican Cafe y Cantina — Restaurant in San Antonio

I can’t be sure but I believe it was a Manager . She was extremely rude , her tone was highly unprofessional. My husband had gotten me a coffee, when he brought it back to me the first thing he said was honey this is extremely hot , please be careful . I waited 20 minutes to attempt to drink it. I simply could not . It was at a scalding dangerous temperature. I had no choice but to go back and ask for ice or a possible redo . I approach her . She was standing by the coffees. I said excuse me ma’am , she looked at me with a very nasty look . I said ma’am this coffee is extremely hot I cannot possibly drink this and it’s been 20 minutes. Her response , what do you want me to do about it in a highly aggressive tone . Uncalled for . I am stunned at her mannerism. I said ma’am there is just no way to drink this and she said the same thing in the same tone . She then said what do you need ice ? I said yes that actually would be helpful , at that point asking for another redo , she would have chopped mu head off . When I first told her she could have politely said apologies would you or do you need ice .. then after she tells me where the ice is , she says in another nasty tone . No one has ever said there coffee is too hot . It was scalding hot and even waiting 20 minutes it wasn’t cooled . Will never go to this cafe ever again . It’s clear you do not like your job or people for that matter . Get a remote job and...

I can't write enough about the bad experience we had. Waited a while for a table, entered order online when we got to table. Tried to pay, and it showed someone else's bill. So we tried again but no better result. After waiting 20 minutes, a worker came over and asked if we ordered. We explained, and he said "Oh I think they are working on it". About 10 minutes later, my wife looked at the bar and said she thinks our drinks have been sitting there. They bring over the now warm drinks. Then they bring out our sandwiches. The burger was the greasiest burger I've ever had, and the fries were ice cold, and not many of them at that. I took two bites of the grease-burger and asked for the check and that took another 10 minutes. It was wrong, and they went to charge the card (another 5 minutes) and then it was charged for an additional $10. I asked why it was more, and he said he didn't charge me for the beer??? At this point, I thought we were on Candid Camera, left $0 tip, and left. We barely had time to catch our flight.

Aside from that, they had single people sitting at tables for 4, and vice versa, and a line out the door. Horrible management, horrible service. If they are under-staffed, then they shouldn't take all those people in ($$$). I could go on, but if you need to hear more to decide, then maybe you should try them out...

Got here on Monday July 15th by 11.15am.

The hostess at the front was awesome and very helpful and because of her I gave them 2 stars on service. Based on just her it would have been 5 stars.

Got to the bar and tried getting the lady(she wears glasses) at the bars attention. Tried for 15mins and she just kept looking past me. Me and the lady beside me started laughing that you are quite obvious and I just laughed it off.

After eating some Tacos a la Rosario’s with Beef Suggested by the hostess. Which were awesome by the way I decided to order some nachos.

So after trying to get the female bartenders attention again another guy at the bar helps out. Apparently it was time for a shift change.

Ordered the fajita taco and what they served me was nothing to write home about. There was no Jalapeños or sour cream. The food looked like it had been warmed in the microwave which it was, because they pretty much served me what the lady beside me had returned back. As she had ordered chicken nachos and not Fajita.

Least to say, food was appalling left it there feeling very empty and upset. Never going...
