I have been here a few times. Typically the food and service are good. This last time I went things were disappointing.
This last time it took 50 minutes to get combination fried rice and chicken with vegetables. I had not said anything until I noticed that several tables that arrived after me had gotten their food and even some had eaten and left already. I asked three employees if they could check on our food. No employee came back and said anything to me. I even went to the cashier to see if they could check on my order. I just wanted to be told what was going on and was being ignored.
The food arrived after I went to the cashier, and the server said sorry it to so long. I asked what happened and I just got excuses. First I was told the food took so long because it was busy and there were a lot of to go orders, then because someone dropped the ticket, then the manager says the ticket was stuck behind another ticket. The manager sighed at me when I told her I just them to take accountability and just apologies instead of a discount. In all fairness to them, it was busy but all you gotta do is communicate with your customer. All they had to do was tell me what happened and I’d understand. I have worked in restaurants and get it. We are all human and make mistakes.
Overall, disappointed. I will probably try and come back another time in the future for a second chance. The food here is a 6.5/10. Sometimes higher but never lower. I think you should try this place out. And I hope the team here works on their...
Read moreLong-time listener and first-time caller. The food was clean. Order: Sweet and sour Chicken, fried rice, egg roll, and egg drop soup. Additional Sides include fried Rangoon and Crispy Noodles (for soup).
The main course was clean. The Chicken was fried perfectly, and the rice was not greasy and clean. The sauce needs some work. It has a robust taste, not sweet, but I can't put my taste buds on it. It's average, if not below. I didn't enjoy it. The mustard packet made it enjoyable, which added that punch to the flavor, making the Chicken more flavorful.
The egg roll was 1 out of 5. It just didn't give me the traditional egg roll feeling. It needs more cabbage and ginger.
The soup was bland, and the crispy noodles I wanted to go with were stale.
The rangoons were flavorful, but again, the red sauce was disappointing--it needs to have a sweeter, more appetizing, and more memorable sauce.
Overall, I will give this place another try because the dining area looked really nice. I would like my kids to give their opinion on this as well. I will try the traditional beef and...
Read moreEvery time I order here, whether that be take out or delivery, I am excited. Their food is phenomenal. They give the right amount of food to have some for later, which I love. I especially love their sesame chicken - sweet and savory. Plenty of sauce and flavor. I also like mixing the steamed rice I tend to get with the sauce to give it the same flavor, and it’s so good. Their service is wonderful too. I’ve heard many great things from friends and family, but my own experience really brings it together. I forgot my wallet in the store after picking up my to-go order, and upon realizing, I went right back. The gentleman who served me, looked at me and turned around immediately, grabbing my wallet and when I apologized he made a lighthearted joke along the lines of “When you’re hungry that happens,” and smiled. — The photo is chicken and broccoli...
