My most horrific experience took place at this location on July 6, 2025, I was met with the most outlandish, unprofessional and unethical situation. As I visited my father a patient at this facility, I noticed he was having trouble breathing. I then asked the nurse (Karen), if she could check him she stated she'd notify the charge nurse. I went back to my father's bedside, a few minutes later came in a female, who did not identify herself, I asked her, her name I was brushed off. I told her he was having trouble breathing, she stated they were trying to wean him off oxygen, as they didn't want him dependent on it. Then she began scolding him. I and the other patient's visitors (four) others looked at each other dumbfounded. I then asked this respiratory technician not to speak to my father in that manner as she continued scolded him. He had just undergone a major surgery and was having difficulty breathing. She snarked at me and stated, "she has done this a long time," I shook my head acknowledging her time in the profession, but said nothing. She administered the oxygen and left, not ever knowing her name, I went back to ask Karen her name. Karen stated it was Rebecca. I told Karen she was rude to my father. I went back into the room to continue my visit, after a few hours later, as I was getting ready to end my visit, I was met with Judy the Charge Nurse who indicated law enforcement was looking for me. I was at a loss... After speaking to the officers, I was informed I was being escorted off the premises for an accusation of physical assault. I had no idea what was happening, turns out Rebecca the respiratory technician filed a complaint against me accusing me of physical assault, which NEVER happened and was a complete fabrication! I was so confused and in total disbelief, that someone would create such a heinous tale, because I asked her to not speak to my father in such a poor and unprofessional manner. I could not believe she had the gall to drum up such a tale. I found it ironic that the other visitors were never interviewed to get the true account of the interaction she and I had, but of course it wouldn't happen, as it would discredit her implausible tale. So much for due process! As the officers indicated, any business can have you removed for any reason, I understood but to go as far as to create a lie of that magnitude, is infuriating. I was told I could not return to the premises again. Although, I made contact with the CEO, Kylie Sinclair, I explained the outlandish and false accusations, he expressed concern and informed me an internal investigation would be performed. This employee's unlawful and unethical behavior, had devastating consequences for my father's mental and physical recovery, not to mention my reputation. The CEO and I, did find other accommodations for my father, which were truly appreciated, given all that transpired there, I did not want my father to remain there, who knows what could have happened to him, since I was no longer able to oversee his health and she would have remained his respiratory technician. Unfortunately, these fraudulent accusations made against me, caused serious consequences to my father's recovery. If anyone has had a similar situation, please do not hesitate to...

I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received by the physical and ocupational therapist at PAM Warm Springs Medical Center in San Antonio, TX!
John, my physical therapist, has been nothing short of amazing. His professionalism, deep knowledge, and encouragement have helped me build strength and confidence every step of the way. He listens, pushes me when I need it, and always ensures my safety and progress come first. He helped me safely learn board transfers ā from the bed to my wheelchair, from the wheelchair to the car, and to the bath chair. He took his time to make sure I felt confident and capable. He even showed me how to do wheelies in my wheelchair and reminded me not to be afraid ā that confidence was just as important as strength.
Emma, my occupational therapist, was equally wonderful. Sheās compassionate, patient, and truly gifted at what she does. She really helped me regain function and independence in ways I didn't think possible, always making our sessions purposeful, yet comforting. Every session with her felt like progress, both physically and emotionally.
A big thank you to Cassandra and Margaret, Emmaās assistants. Their warmth, attentiveness, and encouragement made every session go smoothly and comfortably.
The entire rehab team made a huge difference in my recovery, not just physically but emotionally too. I highly recommend PAM Warm Springs to anyone looking for a team that truly cares and helps you believe in yourself again.

As a paralyzed patient, I expected a basic level of attentive careābut unfortunately, that was not consistently provided. Many of the nurses assigned to me did not check my brief regularly during their shifts, even though it was clearly documented in my care plan. Because of this negligence, I developed a urinary tract infection (UTI) while under their care. I brought it up to the physician so steps could be taken to prevent this from happening again, but not all staff followed the instructions in my chart.
That said, I want to sincerely acknowledge the few staff members who treated me with the care, dignity, and responsiveness every patient deserves:
Edihna, Tasha, Evelyn, Laura, and Miguel (3rd shift CNA). These individuals always responded to my needs quickly and provided compassionate, professional care throughout their shifts. They are the reason this review includes any positive stars at all.
Patients with disabilities deserve consistent, respectful, and attentive care. I hope this feedback helps bring needed improvements to ensure no one else...

While the nursing staff, medical assistants, occupational therapists and physical therapists do their best, they are constrained by the arrogance of the doctors and administrators. The doctors and administration here caused my husband to need an additional surgery because they refused to read X-ray results for a week that showed a fracture in his foot. In spite of our statements on admission that all medical care changes and conversions should happen with my husband and myself, doctors refused to answer any of my concerns. They went so far as to only work with my husband after I left and I was there on average 10-11 hour hours a day in spite being in the same motorcycle accident. I called 3-6 times a day starting at shift change to get someone to look at his ankle X-ray. Finally at an outside ortho appointment that I made, in spite of PAM staff misinforming the ortho doc to only put time aside to see his hand, they looked at his ankle. Because it was unattended and because pt was done on it for so long, it healed improperly. All avoidable had the doctors or ceo returned any of my dozens of calls. Only two nurses the whole time I was there with him (with two broken and displaced bones in my butt) offered me even water. Additionally the pt/ot that was promised was 15 hours in 5 days. Nope. Sat and Sunday are only staffed to give patients 1-2 hours of pt instead of 3. First full day there is mostly questions. So I got myself off pain meds and muscle relaxers so I could drive 2 hours a day to support my husband while I was in agony and the reward was supposed to be 15 hours of pt/ot in 5 days. In exchange, he got 8 hours of pt instead the first 5 days, I was treated like a pain and my husbands medical care was so bad it caused further surgeries. Also every medical decision (pain adjustments, pt planā¦) was done without consulting me-the person not on medication. Instead because my husband is so smart and communicative, while he would not have been allowed to sign a legal document, he was made responsible for any of his care that they felt like telling him about. Run away. Do not take a loved one there. And people working there, find another job with administrators and doctors who will allow you enough time to care properly for...
