Safe House Drinkery — Restaurant in San Antonio

I live very close by... I came in, got a beer paid for it. Bartender tried to charge me for 2 beers, I politely declined saying I only got one. He insisted that I had got 2. I said no. He got very angry and told me to leave. I said I apologize for the misunderstanding and I'll pay for the two beers. And he told me to get the f@#$ out. So I through enough money for 3 beers on the counter and left. I dont know if he was on drugs or what the heck was his problem. But never ever coming back to this place...............its not like I didn't have money... I would have paid twice as much for drinks anyway.... f@#$ that...

I went in to the Drinkery last night with my sister and a friend intending to buy a few rounds. Immediately upon entering I was blasted with the raunch odor of vomit, it was profuse. I approached the bartender and told him exactly that. He replied "thats just how it is here". I have worked for numerous bars, and I understand that they can be smelly sometimes, but if you have any pride in your workplace and an odor that profuse you bust out the cleaners and disinfectants. Really cool spot to chill with friends. Came here during vacation and was pleased to see that there were pool tables,karoake,and a darts game. Bartender was very kind. Didn’t catch his name at all but he was very pleasant. Service here was excellent and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s dark and lit with purple LED lights creating a relaxing and fun atmosphere.
