Response to the owner I’m assuming… it’s rude to be honest with my own personal opinion? Not everyone is going to like your product and you have to be okay with that. It was my first time there and the coffee was not good at all, I purchased a cup and I didn’t like it, it was watered down coffee, no sweetness to it at all, even though I asked for vanilla syrup to be added into to… it was bitter and off putting, so I went back up and asked if I could get a different drink returning the, still full, cup of the one I first chose and paid for. Most places replace the one item willfully and kindly, without charging the person again, especially when the customer returns the item. I had to pay full price for another cup again, the second cup wasn’t as bad but it still sucked. It was my first and last time going there. Gold was the first coffee shop I ever tried. They have been my number 1 for years, around the time they opened. Cold brew is my thing, but they encouraged me to expand on my coffee pallet LOL like a cappuccino or a secret menu item (shows their intuition and their confidence in their knowledge). Ty you for that 🥲. I could sit there for hours drinking coffee and it’s perfect to read or simply scroll into an abyss on your phone LOL. I love the simplicity of the menu (easy to read/understand) and I love direction they give to get you the right drink 💛. They also got cool “non” coffee stuff too.
