I had been meaning to visit this place for a long time, but sadly l wasn't very impressed. I'm thankful for the signs pointing me in the right direction because l would've simply left without them. The area is sketchy and rundown. The warehouse building itself is really cool, historic, with a nice little outside seating area associated with the craft brewing place next door. The bathroom was in need of some TLC but l appreciated there being a bathroom so close to the coffee house. The ambiance felt weird inside. I think it was a combination the odd layout, the way the sunlight was filtering in from the high windows on one side, and how eerily quiet it was despite 8 people being in there. I got a seasonal drink, which was okay, but this isn't a place l would go out of my way to visit again. The barista was friendly and helpful though, and l really appreciated him taking the time to explain the menu and options to me.

Hands down one of the best coffee shops I have tried in a while! Those who follow me know I’m chocolate cookie snob! Shotgun House Coffee does not disappoint. Lemon loaf is brilliantly simple. The coffee is good and worth a cup or two. Setting is surprisingly comfortable and well thought out. One can spend hours watching the coffee roaster do its thing. The staff consciously misses the effort to accomplish excellence. If they took 20 seconds to make eye contact and show interest it would elevate the experience and be a complete game changer. In summary the experience left me with great but… Hopefully the customer service improves would love to see Shotgun House Coffee reach its potential!

Went in during the cold snap with my girlfriend. I figured it would be a little chilly inside by looking at the building, but the barista was nice to offer us to warm up by a nice heating fan. Was a very kind gesture. I ordered my go to which was a Cortado. Enjoyed the quality of it. My barista apologized that the cream artwork on it wasn't very good, but I thought she did just fine. My grungy fixed gear delivery days are over, but the staff treated my girlfriend and I just fine. Some coffee places can be seem closed off if you don't look hipster. Definitely going to be my san antonio coffee spot when I'm working in the city.

Went in around 3pm today with my boyfriend and there was only one barista on shift. She was a short Hispanic looking woman with black hair. There was one lady in line before who had ordered four drinks and my bf and I didn’t mind waiting at all, but the barista completely ignored us and didn’t greet us despite locking eyes with my boyfriend. When it was finally our time to order, I asked for a chai and the barista informed me she was out of chai in an irritated tone as if I was bothering her. I then looked back up at the menu to try and figure out another drink to get as my bf ordered. I was still looking after my bf ordered and I glanced over to see her looking at me extremely annoyed so I panicked and got a matcha. We finished ordering, sat down, and didn’t have a very long wait which was the only nice part of our experience. However, upon ordering our drinks, neither of us could taste the flavor. My boyfriend got a latte with wildflower caramel and he could only taste coffee and milk. I got a matcha with one of their seasonal fall flavors and despite having two flavors in the drink, all I could taste was fishy matcha and whole milk. I was very excited to try this place because I saw the reviews and thought the atmosphere was really cool, but I will not be returning due to the rude barista and the plain drinks that I...

finally tried this place out after many recommendations on mother’s day. was really excited but immediately was turned off by your older female baristas awful customer service this afternoon. my husband asked for a drink and she immediately cuts him off sharply saying ā€œwe don’t have thatā€ and then looking over the menu for another drink she hears him talking and says ā€œdid you say something?ā€ like if he’s a bother? what happened to ā€œoh sorry about that we don’t have it, here’s another drink i recommendā€ etc there was nobody else in line and its mother’s day and we have our baby here. she ruined the experience with her ugly attitude and i noticed there’s another bad review about an employee of the same description. even making the coffee she seemed visibly annoyed. ironically this employee wore a ā€œBUY LOCALā€ shirt, when i most definitely have to think twice about recommending it visiting this local shop again. other shops around sa are always big on recommendations or kindness. on the other hand the coffee was great and the place itself is such a nice relaxed laid back vibe, just wished the customer...

If you're in the area, or just like good coffee and are willing to drive a bit I highly encourage Shotgun House Coffee Roasters. I'm from Oklahoma and am currently here for work and have been on a quest for locally roasted coffee with exceptional taste. After facing huge dissapointment yesterday, I tried this place.

First impression, like the pictures show, wonderful natural lighting, thoughtful decor, and some comfy seating (couches with throw pillows for the lower back šŸ˜‰).

And just as important as ambience / atmosphere, the coffee! This is craft coffee - the kind your taste buds will thank you for. Unlimited drip is what I got, and it really doesn't get much better tasting folks.

I have yet to try the mocha, but may include an update later on (working on delaying pleasure) I also know its going to be delicious, so I have something to look forward to.

Thank you Shotgun House Coffee Roasters for blessing me with an exceptional cup of coffee, great atmosphere, and friendly staff (with knowledge of things to do in the area)....
