Starbucks — Restaurant in San Antonio

Before coming to this location, I called first to verify that they had the Plant Based Breakfast Sandwich because I didnt want to go over there if they didn't have it. They told me they did. So when we went up to the window to order it, I received the Impossible Breakfast Sandwich instead. Thats a totally different sandwich. My husband spoke to Shaun and even showed him the picture of the plant based sandwich and Shaun said that they don't really have a vegan sandwich. So why does the website say otherwise? It specifically says on the website "A plant-based twist on our iconic breakfast sandwich—an Impossible™ Sausage Made from Plants with a plant-based egg patty, topped with a creamy melted plant-based Cheddar-style slice, served on a toasted whole-wheat English muffin—all layered to give you the fuel to conquer the day". So what I am assuming is that you guys are either false advertising to your customers or Shaun doesn't understand. I do appreciate that he says he would refund our whole order which im still waiting on but the whole point of calling them first was to avoid wasting a trip over there.

Usually this place works out alright or at least has in the past. However, this morning I ordered two simple drinks (Americanos) and was given one correct one, but was also given another drink that I didn’t order. That wouldn’t have been too bad if not for the fact the person I was giving the second drink (Not an Americano) to wasn’t severely allergic to some of the ingredients in it. So by pure chance potential epi pen use and hospitalization didn’t happen since it was noticed in time but it’s definitely a lesson to be learned by Starbucks personnel. Read the labels of the drinks you hand out next time because you could potentially seriously damage someone or worse. Instead of focusing on writing inspirational messages on cups, just read the printed labels next time. I hope management sees this so they can convey these things to their employees.
