Crumbl — Restaurant in San Antonio

Gross. I received what seemed like an old chocolate chip cookie. It was hard and dry and sort of like a crumbling dry piece of mud. When I ordered online, I received a bday cookie free and decided to buy another to share with my husband. I requested curb side pickup due to the sniffles I had. Upon pulling into a parking spot, I noticed the lady inside holding two boxes and placed them on what I believe was another section of a countertop. This was not the counter at front. She saw my car when I pulled up and acted as if she had not seen me. I noticed she kept looking behind her as if she was asking or telling someone to go check on the two vehicles parked outside. There were two of us at curbside pickup. After 6 minutes of waiting, another lady with an apron walks to that one lady’s area, grabs the two boxes, and brings them out. I even paid a tip which is really annoying to prepay a tip. This tipping culture is out of control. One things I really enjoy about a coffee shop I frequent regularly, is I have the option to tip after my service on their app. If you know, you know. I won’t return to this location again. I love Crumbl cookie. I went there this week to try the Keylime pie and the oatmeal cookie specifically to my surprise. They also had the carrot cake from last week. I was interested in trying, but couldn’t I ended up getting the four pack and got the raspberry jam one as well, the oatmeal cookie one, the cookie itself, is divine. I am not a fan of the whipped cream on top. It kind of falls short I was hoping it would taste more like an oatmeal cream pie and with all of the cookies I feel like they’re two moist they’re just falling apart. I can’t pick it up and eat it so that was kind of annoying, the Keylime pie was amazing by far my favorite. The carrot cake was exactly what it was a carrot cake. It wasn’t anything to write home about. It didn’t taste like a cookie and in my opinion just fell short the raspberry one is really good if you get the raspberry jam with it if you just get the cookie, it’s a bland cookie, I had super high hopes, but I have to say overall a little disappointed there’s not one of them that I was like I have to eat this whole cookie right now where is normally I find at least one that I’m over...

I’m very disappointed. I placed an order on the app on a Wednesday for pick up that Saturday. When I arrived at the store to get my order, they said that 3 of the cookies I had ordered were already sold out (chocolate chip). I’m sorry but shouldn’t they set aside cookies for prepaid orders especially with that much of advanced notice? If I would have known that my cookies would just be switched out with other flavors I would have spent the same amount of money on a Great American Cookie….. extremely disappointed and this was my first order. This order was also for a birthday party so the birthday boy was very disappointed when the cookie he requested was not in the box. Not sure that I’ll return…..
