Today was the worst experience I have ever received at a Starbucks. I placed a mobile order for a drink and a cup that showed was in stock. I get to the drive thru and they tell me they’re unable to see which cup I ordered and to describe what it looks like. I’m then told that they don’t have it in stock but they have my drink ready. I get to the window and the barista asks me if I would like to receive a refund for the cup that I DID NOT GET. Obviously it makes the most sense to get a refund for something I didn’t receive. He then explains to me that I can take my receipt to a Target that has the cup in stock and they’ll be able to give me the cup there since I’ve already purchased it. I repeated what he said back to me to confirm what he was saying and said no thanks I would rather just receive a refund. He tells me I have to call Starbucks Support to get that handled. So I’m leaving the store with no cup and no refund and instructions to take my receipt to a Target location. I call the nearest Target and relay the information that was given to me and they say they’re not even affiliated with Starbucks Stores and would not be able to honor a receipt from anywhere but Target (which I figured). I attempted calling this store multiple times for 30 minutes to figure out how I could resolve the issue. The line was busy for most of the calls, but a few were answered and I was hung up on before I could speak to anyone. I ended up calling support and was given a full refund for my order, but I do not appreciate misinformation and wasting my time by having me call a bunch of places for an error by the store. I understand not having stock of products, but I would much rather be told the correct information to resolve an issue with purchasing a product that’s out of stock than having to waste my time by following instructions given to me...
Read moreYou will be served a better, more flavorful coffee if you went to a different location. I ordered a venti pecan crunch latte w/ extra shot and it tasted flat, like hot milk. Couldn’t taste pecan flavoring either. I had to go back twice and there was a miscommunication on their end, twice. How does that happen??! This is around a $10 coffee so not going to let it slide. Just so annoyed to have to deal with this. The customer service was good but after the third time the coffee still tasted like hot milk and was not sweet. So I just gave up seeing that they can’t get it right. I’ve ordered same drink here a couple of times before but in grande size. Maybe because it’s a Venti it was super watered down and weak? Are they trying to skimp on ingredients to save on cost and inventory? I’m not sure but was a complete waste of money and time and that’s unfortunate because this location is so convenient. Just not a great experience all around. Two stars because they were nice and took time to remake for me twice. If Starbucks is so responsive, appreciative and apologietic about all of the 1-2 star reviews that have been posted, why not show that you care and improve on the process and product you serve to your customers. We take time out of our day to wait in long lines and spend more money than we should for your product. And to receive a high-priced, sub-par coffee after all of that it completely...
Read moreZero stars if I could. Ordered two iced teas as they normally come. Both were completely unsweetened. When we asked the employee if they included sweetener at all, his response was that teas don’t include sweetener unless requested. This has never happened to me before. We asked for them to be remade so he took the drinks back and didn’t mention anything about an up charge. It wasn’t until he brought them back remade that he said he would have to CHARGE us $1.25 for the sweetener. We repeatedly told him that sweetener is always included in this drink and his response was that’s not the case here and was extremely rude while cutting me off while I was speaking to him. I have attached a picture of this drink from the app which shows that sweetener is always included.
At the end of the day, it’s just sweetener. What leaves a bitter taste in my mouth is the disrespectful manner this employee had. Starbucks customer service standards have plummeted and it’s...
