Sushi Seven — Restaurant in San Antonio

Food was just ok, not the best sushi I ever had or anything but the service was horrible. We were still eating but the waitress was already taking our plates. There were a Hispanic couple sitting right next to us with their plates empty as well, but she didn't take those from them. We are Asian and we had a small child with us, we forgot to ask for a drink for our child but waitress didn't even ask us. I don't think we would come back to this place because of this poor service, we felt discriminated. My husband was still nice enough to give them 20% tip, but we won't be...

The food was sub-par. Ask any Sushi chef and they will tell you that the rolls are not supposed to taste fishy, the rolls here did. Rolls are supposed to taste fresh and vibrant.

A good Japanese restaurant is rare in San Antonio. We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The atmosphere was a bit sterile, but it was clean and bright. The food was good (not the best I've ever had though) and the service was great. My husband had the James Tower, my mom had the una don (she was very pleased), and I had the chirashi bento. The menu was extensive; I was surprised with the variety from traditional, to sushi, to comfort foods. No Korean or Chinese dishes as you sometimes find in wanna-be Japanese restaurants....
