We have been in the area for a couple months, and this is the first Taco Bell I've tried... sometimes, you just crave Taco Bell, regardless of "authenticity" or not. I was floored to find the service and atmosphere so welcoming that I wanted to come back and dine-in, rather than drive-thru.
I don't know if the interior design is standardized in San Antonio, but everything was higher end furniture with a clear eye for fashion (Southwest / Western, of course) and sparkling clean. Yes, they have the touch screen option that fast food chains are pushing, but I was impressed to watch employees' patience helping an older customer who couldn't work the system. What made it more impressive is that one employee taught him how to use it, rather than just taking his order at the cash register, which likely would have been faster.
As a side note, I had no idea Taco Bell still had the Pintos N Cheese. I used to love this as a kid and forgot...
Read moreUsed app to have order delivered, order never arrived after saying it was. Called the store and they remembered the order being picked up. With it being midnight there was no way to contact support without using the app and this store's address is not listed. Manager said even with my receipts the order (2 deluxe cravings boxes and a free chulupa) was "too big of an order" for me to drive and have them remake. That order which after my delivery fee of $5.95 and a 20% tip was $30 was the last of my husband and my money until the next morning. The manager even informed me that "It sounds like your doordasher stole your order." The worst customer service from a night manager I have ever received. I have the proof but it wasn't enough so suggestion for ordering delivery, go third party they charge the same added charges but at least if something goes wrong you have the ability to...
Read moreThis particular fast food restaurant looks abandoned. it's kinda hidden. there's hardly anyone there. it needs some cleaning inside. When I went to eat inside, there was a very dirty person inside. He didn't look like he ordered anything, but he was eating from food that was not Taco Bell's menu. Eventhough I don't have anything against the homeless. I still think we should be worried about hygiene & health concerns. This man acted like he was living in the outdoos. He was super filthy & had his personal trash in front of him. He had no shoes on. his hair was wild looking. I believe he was there a long time just taking advantage of the a/c. He was there when I came in and he was still there when I left. He had no intentions of leaving anytime soon. The employees acted like he wasn't even there. And where was the manager ? That was terrible management. I'm never going...
