Robbie (If that was the correct name he wrote) was horrible. This so called "New" Manager has TERRIBLE Customer Service. This individual didn't do anything to help the situation and basically handled my issue with no care. Maybe this person needs a class refresher on communication with Customers. His attitude and way of talking to me was disrespectful so I matched him. Its ridiculous you have someone incompetent that doesn't know about the Gift Card Policy/issues. But I will say you on a positive note, you have an Awesome Employee, Dustin who talked with me with care and concern and also took the time to hear me out and make me feel welcomed in the unwelcome Environment Robbie created. I will be reaching out to corporate to figure out this Gift Card issue. I will say Taco Cabana needs to teach there employees about Gift Card Issues because I had a brand new Gift Card, used it Monday and the guy had no idea how to use it and they did a lot of swipes and said it was paid, they couldn't give me a balance just said I have change. So I kept that receipt because they looked confused. Sure enough today went to use it and it was zeroed out, or so Robbie told me. I should have had 10. 77. So yea basically Robbie said not his problem and I needed to just pay and go. This is unacceptable, if it was him in that situation I'm sure he'd care to see what happened to his hard working money but he's just another careless individual. 5 Stars for Dustin. Read moreAfter a long nights' work day, I decided to swing by the drive thru at Taco Cabana for some enchiladas to take back to the office. Four cars were already in line so I thought it wasn't so bad. I was wrong! After 10 minutes of not moving, the car in front of me got out of line and left. Next we waited another 6 minutes when the car at the speaker FINALLY moved. I decided to view the menu online so that when I got to the speaker the person wouldn't have an excuse to leave me waiting and I would already know what I wanted to order because when the car in front of me got to the speaker the person inside immediately told her to wait. Finally when I got a chance to order, of course the person tells me to wait and I quickly responded "but I already know what I want to order, I can order now!" The person hesitated and I said "hello! I want to order your beef enchiladas. Thats all!" WOW Victory! I got my order in and had no reason to wait another 6 minutes before they would come back to ask me. I wish that was all of the disappointing experience. I was happy that the food was good, warm but good when your hungry. I asked for salsa and a jalepeño and I got sour spoiled salsa and no jalepeño when I got to the office, I had no utensil, no napkins. Resourceful is when you can eat your dinner without utensils and cardboard spoon and bathroom paper towels work. Taco Cabana a little attention and motivation for this location can go a long way. Read moreWe called in to place order by phone so guy answered and he yells out to someone else.. "hey vato te hablan" ( translation: hey dude they're calling you ). First of all you don't answer a call that way and secondly the are hard of hearing. You have to talk slow for them to capture your order.
I went to this same exact location on a Friday to order some soapapillas ( 6 count) and the person in another vehicle (2 cars away from me) hadn't gotten their order take and they had been w@iting for 10 minutes. I walked inside leaving my vehicle on the drive thru line ( thinking the line would move by the time I came back) to try and order the soapapillas only and be on my merry way. To my surprise, the couple in front of me ordered their food and then we're told it would be about 45 minutes to an hour before they could get their food because they had so many orders. Plus they had a car at the window. I could clearly see maybe 8 orders but that was drive thru and inside orders. When it came to for me to order and was told an hour.. I blew a fuse. I couldn't believe how unprepared this location was for a crowd that they have every weekend.
I got better and quicker service at another location that was as busy or more a few miles down the road.
