So. They charge $1 for a cup to get water. Cool, understandable, no big deal. Paid with my card. Left it open in case I needed more cups or in case my husband wanted to order himself some beers. But he had opened his own. With him opening his own, I completely forgot about my card being open. He closed out. We left. After spending over $100+ on beer and food. Next couple of days a transaction for $41 dollars had been charged. (For that same day, from their Texas dog co. But seperate from the food) Called them to see why, the food i bought for everyone on the same card had been charged seperate. So i know it wasnt from that. My husband paid for his own beer. Wasnt that. They pulled it up and said I ordered beers, I had not, my husband had opened his own card and paid that. I am pregnant, so I know I didn't buy beer. And the beer ordered was nothing either of us drink. And my kids are 8 and under, theres no mistaking them for adults. They were polite, said they'd call back with more info. Didn't, I called back. Very polite again, said maybe it was an accident because I have a common last name, next time, have them put my first name š okay, or you could pay attention? But anyway, okay. They checked that, nope, no one else with the same last name. They will call me back. I call back again, ( a few times now, waiting on whomever they needed me to speak to) they asked for both mine and my husband's card info, (even though I'd given it to them the first day and they confirmed that had been paid and that they were completely different beers. But they wanted to check cameras to see if anyone else in our party had ordered anything, it was just me, my husband and our kids. So. No. But you know what? This had been multiple calls already, over a couple of weeks now, Let's go down in person so we can ALL see what happened. Because, although i just expected an 'oops. Sorry, our mistake, here's your refund,' no. Which is fine. Now I'm curious which one of you either messed up and put someone else's order on my tab or ordered for yourself? Or tipped yourself out a larger amount using my card. I was a bartender for over a decade. I've seen all the possibilities. It's ridiculous out there. So yes. Lets look. Together š Also, you'd need to know what we look like anyway, right? Showed up, said that they had just refunded me. Everyone polite still. Them. Me. My husband. Okay then..? I mean, this took a month, I'm curious now, but okay. HOWEVER, It's almost been TWO months now. No refund. No more answering our phone calls. We've wanted to go in person, but it's annoyingly out of our way going and coming back. Also, It's been two months, I'm just going to take the L. And just write this bad review. They suck for that. And if I was going to nit pick. They're also slow behind the bar. If it were myself and 1 other bartender, no line. But there's like, 4 or 5, and a long line. On top of that, idk if they're hiring family or what, but it's the only excuse as to why I couldn't order a virgin margarita "they're pre made, so we don't do that" ma'am. You have a whole bar back there. It's only 4 ingredients and I could see them all from where I'm standing. š¤¦āāļø anyway. That's it. Make sure you close your card out or you're...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDog Co. Icehouse is a hidden gem hidden amongst the hustle and bustle of the I-10 corridor. Located behind County Line in between Wurzbach and Huebner, just off the access road, on Hyatt Dr. Overflow parking is located in the Sea Island parking lot, DO NOT park in the County Line parking lot, they tow for some reason, even though they close at 10, and Dog Co. is open until 1 am. It contains five food trucks. Unfortunately, I've only sampled two... so far, mostly due to me finding something that I like and sticking to it, but I plan to try them all. El Mitote has already made a name for itself, but now you get to enjoy it while watching live music, watching a boxing/ufc fight, or even taking in a spurs game on their incredibly large main screen, as well as the mutiple surrounding screens. I had the birria quesadillas and the pastor street tacos. It stood true and tasted like the San Antonio soul food that I was raised eating. The Pita Chick, man, her loaded hummus is so silky, and multiple layers of flavor from the chicken shwarma. I came to find out that you could add another depth of flavor by asking for garlic sauce and using that to load up each pita chip for a perfect bite. You could order your beverages from your table via QR code, and one of the friendly staff members will promptly bring it right to your table. They had plenty of beers on draft and several of their own signature drinks. Including frozen margaritas, which they have a flight of, as well as non-alcoholic options. A fully stocked selection of liquors, for when a beer just will not cut it. I went for a seasonal Saint Arnold, and a ranch water. A sand volleyball court, which is used for weekly games put on by the San Antonio Sports & Social Club. There's a playground for the Kiddos as well. Now comes the Dog, in Dog Co. Icehouse. My dog Archer loves this place as well. As we sat at the table listening to the band, enjoying our food, one of the wait staff came and placed a big bowl of water at his paws, as well as hooked him up with a little dog treat. Archer and I also met a few friends while playing in the dog run. I know he looks forward to our next visit, as...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is not true owner as you were not there nor did you speak to any of us there. Your blonde worker needs to learn to treat customers there better (not Tamia she is an amazing person/server/Customer service on point) Only my children were asked to leave the area FIRST so of course they ran to your playground. Also, your sign says on the LARGE dog park gate that people under 21 can be in the area SUPERVISED, not that they are NOT allowed in there at all, like your worker said -so you need to change your sign on the dog door. We were sitting on a picnic table you put inside the LARGE DOG park. Because my children would be supervised just like my dogs are, once they asked my CHILDREN TO LEAVE the area, they ran to the playground of course, they are kids, I had to keep an eye on both, my kids and my dogs bec Iām only ONE person, but I did NOT āleaveā my dogs there nor āleaveā my children either and NO ONE, not one person or a worker came up to me at any point and said a word about me walking back and forth for both and in fact, I was speaking to another couple in the dog park area about Air Tags & stayed in that area with my dogs but watching the playground. I know my kids and I know my dogs and both were great! THE POINT that you failed to say as a business owner & apologize for in the future, was the young lady shouldnāt of had her MINIATURE AUSSIE in the LARGE DOG AREA because the dogs are big and they want to play, and they will scare anything that small. Just bec the guy she wanted to hang with had a medium sized dogā¦. Full stop- she shouldnāt of been in there AT ALL and SHE should of been asked to leave. Thatās the point, not one worker(s) EVER came up to me told me twice(?) saying I was āleaving my dogsā - or even āleaving my childrenā they did not, at all, because it didnāt happen and realizing your company was in the wrong with your worker and your signage would have been the bigger stance to take, not the low road you decided to ride on. All the more reason not to bring my kids nor my LARGE DOGS there in the future and to make sure to let others...
