I am very disappointed in HEBs delivery partnership with Favor. Tonight was the last straw for us. I have been having our groceries delivered to our address as long as the service has been available. Before HEB started delivering for $5 a pop, we used Instacart for HEB groceries. However , every single time we have ordered, we have never had a complete order been 100% delivered. Most of the time we would miss at least one item, but usually it was 2 or more items. One time, we were missing a string cheese bag, and instead were given a canned jar of jalapenos. (We dont eat jalapenos so I know for sure we didnt order it & even checked my reciept- we never had jalapenos on our order.) However, tonight, I had ordered a cart full of groceries to be delivered between 9-10pm. (It was the last available option for today.) I get a notification that my order was on the way. However, I received a call from HEB stating the Favor Driver had forgotten ALL of our frozen & cold food items but informed me that the store is closed now so they would be happy to help us tomorrow morning at 7am. Unfortunately, I work at 8am in the opposite direction of HEB to be able to pick up my groceries in the morning and will have to wait until after I get off from work around 5pm. And, to make things even more irritating, the driver bangs on our door like the FBI just discovered us, not once, but TWICE . After I put away my items , I had to make a list of all the things the driver DID bring us, and then a separate list of all the items they did NOT bring us. 22 items they brought us , and 22 items missing. Literally, HALF of our order. I do understand this is not entirely HEBs fault.. they did call me to let me know what happened. But my concern is, how is this happening that the delivery drivers are even able to drive away with half an order missing and get away with it?? Id like to suggest that the tipping option for delivery drivers be made at the end of the order , because I tipped this driver 10% of the order total (it was well over $200 worth) before they even delivered, because that is how the app is designed. Do they get to keep the full tip even though they did not complete their job? And now, HEB has to pick up the slack for an irresponsible Favor driver? Its not just unnerving, its inconsiderate. I have a toddler who doesnt eat a lot and we have been struggling to get him fed & some of the items missing were the only kinds of foods my son will eat. Please consider making some changes, especially the SAN ANTONIO Favor Drivers partnering...
Read moreThis HEB has the worst service and people working there specially employee named Mary Anne who after seeing me pay on the self checkout single handed picked me and only me and accuses me of not paying for some items demands my receipt when she was not even close to me as she was helping some other people when I asked for manager she begins to take items out of my bags not respecting social distancing even after I asked her to respect it she didn’t care and kept my items as I told her I no longer wanted those items as the reason I go by self checkout is to avoid contact with any employee since I wanted to be safe as they’ve been on the news reporting some employees had contracted the virus and I’m trying to stay healthy so she essentially robbed me as I was trying to leave after I had paid it’s sad that H‑E‑B used to be a great place to shop but now not so much so I will no longer be shopping at they’re establishments with this type of behavior and them not following social distancing will be sticking with Amazon and Walmart to shop without leaving home. People are getting crazy out there and I no longer trust that they are doing anything to help combat this virus on my way out I even notice that they are not even disinfecting the registers after each customer so there also that they truly do not care about Texas or the people obviously otherwise they would be doing things different and not putting our health and lives at risk. Even Walmart disinfect the registers after every customer and in this times that we are living in you have to be very careful unless you just want to be another statistic. So everyone beware as H‑E‑B allows their employees to profile and discriminate their customers accusing them of not paying even though they see you just paid and put receipt in your pocket which is ridiculous. Will be talking to my lawyer Monday morning to see what my options are and what approach to take out of this embarrassing and defamatory accusation towards me and I suppose that how H‑E‑B lets their employees represent them which leaves them open to a defamation of character lawsuit as she was making this accusations in front of everyone that was there paying and...
Read moreI have never had a retail experience like today. My children and I love coming to HEB and my five year old enjoys helping us check out. Today we went with my mother, we shared a cart. When checking out, my son was helping my mother scan his snacks, when a man came up to me. He abruptly said "this is a 25 items or less line" I said "I know, about half is mine and half is my moms, do you need me to move?" He then proceeded to say with so much attitude "not if you think half of that is twenty five". My mom turned to me and said "that was very rude" I said to her, "that was so rude". He then walked back up to us and confrontationally said it was not rude. I told my mom to just grab a few more things and I would just take the rest to another isle, as I was done being harassed by this man. There was no one in line when we got into the check out, and when I left to go to another lane, there was still no one behind me. There was no point in the blatant rudeness of this man, who I'm pretty sure is store leadership. When I checked out at a different area, the total with the candy I got was 30 items, and my moms was 13 items, had we not been treated so badly and made me feel so uncomfortable I had to switch lines, we would have both had around 20-22 items. I didn't see him counting everything in everyone's cart. Just me, not sure why I was picked to be treated so poorly. Dawayne from HEB, I hope your day gets better and you don't need ruin others experience just so you can feel accomplished, there are many other aspects of your job I bet you could do without ruining mine and my children's...
