Vicky's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in San Antonio

Took order then ask about the order a few times before we sat to wait then got ask again two more times took Bout 20 min. For 4 tacos to go then when i ask where the order they said they were making it still but 2 customer got order taken and handled but still waiting for order then when finally did get order they had it wrong still the food was okay the girls were just running around filling n making. Party ready i guess over all this was a bad case of service girl were polite but service and understanding was mis interrupted or just didnt think we would complain or check the order easy order same tacos so idk what was so hard about that i will not go back wasnt worth the $13. Ordered puffy tacos and got 2 gorditas folded like a taco Than I asked waitress to fry my corn tortilla like a tostada and they couldn't even do that right sent it back 2 times and still came back soft ...waitress kept questioning me If I wanted it more tosted because it was gonna take long when every cook knows if you drop a corn Tortilla in the fryer it's gonna take long to turn into a tostada is what I wanted ,so I told her forget it they couldn't get it right 3 times why keep trying...Paid 57$ for ugly and skimpy over priced plates....Will not ever be returning to this place....FYI there carne guisada was spoiled Gonna call city to check behind...

This place was Meh at best. When you walk in it smells so heavy of cleaner you do not smell food. When there is good cooking you can smell it, so this was a downside. When we went there were 2 other families in the restaurant and service was very slow. I ordered 3 soft tacos and 1 hard shell. I received 3 soft and a sausage breakfast. The soft were bland, but the warm corn tortillas were good. The sausage taco was good it was a sweeter sausage keilbasa like. I ended up being sick afterwards. Maybe like something wasn't cooked properly.
