Wing Daddy's Sauce House — Restaurant in San Antonio

The A/C was down. It wasn't that busy so we thought it wouldn't be a long wait. Wrong. The waitress took our drink order and disappeared. She final came over and the ice was melted. She took our order and she kept saying French fries and we said no a couple of times and then minutes later came back and said no fries right. Our nachos came and they were not that fresh. The table next to us had a different waitress and came in way after us. Their waitress was on top of it. Ours was just dragging butt with no urgency. She hardly checked up. Wings were good as always, worth the wait. But it was brought to us by another waitress who asked other tables if they order them. She didn't bring the ranch that was ordered. We asked and they never came back, my husband had to get up and get them himself. Our waitress didn't even apologize. She was passing by with to go boxes and we had to tell her to bring our check. She came back with someone else's check and never came back. We sat on the section closed off behind the bar since it was cooler there. It looked like in the back area were lockers and an unused drink station. They kept gathering there for no reason wasting time and I swear I saw vape smoke. This waitress didn't come and when I got up to flag her down, she just passed by me, I'll be with you in just a minute. Wow. This girl, plus they others looked like they were on something. When she finally came to print out the bill, it took less than 10 seconds to do it. Like what was the hold up. Again it wasn't busy and it looked like she only had one other table. She was so rude and when I called her out on it she started arguing with me! So unprofessional. Then the manager trying to tell me she is one of the better ones. Sad. Corporate needs to look into this location because she more than the others were high on something. And doing something...

I've had the opportunity to dine in multiple times at this location, mostly mid afternoons. The staff working the early - mid shift have always given me outstanding service and for the most part, the food has always come out spot on. If the mid - late crew are just as good, service should be always spot on. Despite the girls hustle I would highly recommend taking the comments of customers who expressed the poor sanitation and foul stench of the establishment, multiple months ago, into consideration. The last time I was in, I had to force myself to ignore and not think of the stench to enjoy the Tangasaurus shrimp which I was craving for days. I've worked high end retail and have always respected and took into consideration the first impression of my establishment and focused on what I could do to retain that customer. Maybe getting a member of the kitchen staff or hiring a greeter to mop before closing and opening to diminish that stale smell could help and setting timed air fresheners might help at the entrances of the restaurant and walkways between restroom might help too. I know I may sound or come off as a patron who should keep his comments to himself cause I've never worked in the food industry, but your store has the potential to be sooooo much better and your workers will be so much happier cause your customer will want to stay longer and spend more money allowing them to make better tips if a little extra was done. Plus, Tangasaurus is my crack and I'd hate to have it gone😂...

So I enter at around 10:10pm 03/05/24 My guest and I not greeted or asked for a beverage until at least 7 mins later. On a slow Tues evening. There was a family there yet of only maybe 5 guest. And a couple and another lady at the bar. Also one of the employees im assuming mngr in grey sweaters boyfriend/son? At the bar whom she was serving seems like endless food/beverages to him while sittin next to him laughing and joking.. As I walked in a few of the lady's had a good laugh huddled up at the drink station.! For a Good 5 mins one darted outside and stayed for another good 5 min.. So all in all 5 woman passed us up at least 4 to 5 times NEVER ASSISTING US.. JUST ABOUT EVERYONE seem tipsy that was part of the crew !!? There was one waiter with bangs and burgundy hair who was very apologetic not to mention over worked from what I saw looked as tho she was dancing on the floor throughout this establishment, because of how hard she was playing catch up for seems everyone else. One was leaving home packing her dinner to go. There was 5 waiters and one bar tender a male cook and two females in red aprons/waiters included with 5, so I'd had enough entered my vehicle around 10:55! With no food won't be going back on a late night weekday. For those shenanigans again safe to say. Ridiculous I've been there on busy days served in less than 30min !
