I will begin with my first experience: Being that I have a small business, I enjoy going to small businesses. First of all, you are SUPPOSED to receive $5 off an online purchase. You click the link, it doesn't work so we called to inform them, the girl who answered the phone was very rude and stated that the promotion is through a 3rd party and she would not honor it. She also stated the ad was 3 YEARS OLD. We go ahead and place the order for pick up and when I get there, I checked the items and explained there wasn't the 2 pizza sauces I thought were included with the Calzones. She said "I never charged you for additional sauces." Turns out they were in a separate box but her statement and presentation, I felt, was rude. I was also informed that if you purchase their bread sticks, sauce isn't included. I was not greeted when I walked in and it was more like an inconvenience that I was there. The food wasn't very good either. The second time, we had a house full of children and decided to go ahead and try them again. AFTER stating we had a house full of hungry kids, she informed the delivery time to be 2 HOURS! (We live less than a mile away) so we worked it out so someone could watch the kids and my husband would go get the food. Upon arrival, the gentleman in front of him was upset with the service and was complaining about the $5 off promotion on their website so she went ahead and credited him the $5. When my husband got to the counter, 2 medium pizzas came out to $18 and change, he reminded her of the promotion on the window outside which is 2 med pizzas for $11, she stated she couldn't honor that because he's not a walk in. He began to explain that they don't seem to honor ANY of the promotions they claim to have and she literally said "I've been told I can NOT inform customers of promotions and I've been instructed NOT to do so." Given our previous experience, he checked each box and there was barely any pepperoni on the pizza where we asked for extra. She told him "I didn't charge you for extra" he said "Ok ma'am, who took my order?" She said "Well I did" he said "You read me back my order INCLUDING my request for extra pepperoni and with all the other issues I'm having right now with this establishment, don't say you didn't because that's not true! If I didn't have a house full of hungry children, I would just leave, this is beyond ridiculous and I will NOT be returning." She really didn't seem to care. The lack of customer service is a joke, he brought the food back and we had to leave again to get more food because it didn't feed all of the kids. On top of that, it wasn't good at all and VERY dry. We will NOT be returning. Had our youngest son not been with him, I know he would've made a big stink and just left but he didn't want him to witness that.. Never again Bo Bo's! You make a bad name for small businesses that truly CARE about customers and customer service!...
Read moreWas in the mood for pizza, but not from the usual chain places. Decided on here and I am honestly glad I did.
Starting off with the pizza, got an XL Nani Pie. Looking at the reviews beforehand, people were complaining it was more like an L. I guess if you're big back it would be an issue, but not for me honestly. It actually seemed bigger than the usual L I would get from a chain. Another thing is, the weight of the box when I first grabbed it, I had a feeling it was gonna be good. Had some actual heft to it as I was carrying it to my car. Tasting it, it honestly hit all the right notes for me. Not greasy, no overbearing salt/garlic flavor, oil or anything. Just a simple and clean natural ingredient pizza that didn't make me feel like I regretted my life decisions afterwards.
Going onto the wings, they were also pretty hefty too. They didn't skimp out on any of the sauce either like other pizza places I been to. They also didn't feel like they were deep fried/ greasy at all either. Some actual bigger than usual chicken wings. Honestly, I ate like 2 of these and only 2 slices of the pizza and I was so stuffed, which again doesn't usually happen with other pizza places and I usually end up eating half the box because of that and still feel hungry afterwards.
All in all, I would def go to this place again. Some of the other reviews complaining about the wait time as well, I don't understand. If you want fast pizza just go to a chain or just a fast food place in general. I'd rather wait for quality food than having them be rushed and then my food not being good afterwards, but that's just me.
They are on the pricier side, but with the way the economy and everything is right now, I don't blame them. It's not like they're part of a corporate conglomerate that couldn't care less about the quality of their food...
