Heartbreaking Experience at Del Taco

I am writing this review with a heavy heart after a truly disheartening experience at Del Taco. From the moment I walked in, I felt invisible. The store manager greeted me but then completely ignored my presence. I stood there for what felt like an eternity—two long minutes—before a team member had to intervene and call the manager on duty.

When I finally had a chance to express my concerns to Manager Rudy, I was met with rudeness and hostility. He came across as someone who might have a troubled past, with explicit tattoos displayed prominently on his arms. His aggressive demeanor made it feel as if he was dealing with people in gangs rather than a customer seeking help. Instead of feeling valued, I felt rushed and intimidated, as if my concerns were a burden. The way he treated me was not just unprofessional; it was deeply upsetting.

To make matters worse, the food quality was appalling. It was undercooked and poorly portioned, leaving me not only dissatisfied but also questioning the care that goes into preparing meals for customers. The manager on duty was dismissive and showed no willingness to make things right or offer even a sincere apology. This lack of empathy and respect has left a bitter taste in my mouth—one that goes beyond just the food.

While I did eventually speak with the regional manager, who genuinely apologized and offered a free meal on my next visit, the damage has already been done. This experience has shattered my trust in Del Taco, and I am left feeling disappointed and disillusioned. I never expected to feel this way about a place I once enjoyed, and I am truly upset that management failed to uphold basic standards of customer service...

This place is trash 🗑 and filthy and extra poor customer service. I wouldn't refer anyone to this place, not even God if he was here. I ordered 2 EPIC loaded queso burrito that's supposed to be pretty big burritos 🌯 in stead I got two burrito that was smaller than a classic but was charged $20.42 like I didn't work hard for my money. Only to get burned by this place and low quality customer service. Please to all who read this past the word to Never I mean Never come here you will be disappointed every time. Tbh, I will be reaching out to their corporate office in hopes they shut this place down or fire the entire teams that are working there. None of them deserve a job they obviously can't do. If I could give 30 negative stars, I would they dont even deserve 1. As the Chef that I am, I can say the management is a disappointment as well. Ordered the $20 Bundle meal it was disgusting so I asked if I could switch the Chipotle burrito for simple bean and cheese, something cheaper than what I ordered. The Shift Lead JASMINE was aggressive right away saying that she CANT change it since it a bundle. My sister asked for corporates Number she said she CANT give it to us bc they DONT have one. I got on the phone with corporate to tell them what was going on and once she heard that I was on the phone with them she started to act right. I Didn’t care about the food But the FACT that she Lied and was Aggressive for no reason it honestly wasn’t that deep. I use to do fast food but never would I have that response to a simple request like that.
