Frap has no flavor. Taste of just ice. Looks lighter than usual too. Whomever is on evening often botches my drinks. Cold drinks never filled properly. Never gives light ice when I ask like they take my asking for it personally. Update: went again in the morning 9/10/24. (I avoid evening shift at 5th street). Ordered a Venti Vanilla Iced coffee with half & half and light ice. The male who took my ordered never asked for the size I wanted. Just put me down as a Grande until I asked for a Venti after confirming I could get that size with stars. Cup was almost full of ice so I brought it back to the window for a remake. What’s the point of getting a larger cup if it’s mostly ice I’m getting? Less than a grande amount of coffee in a Venti cup. It’s a rip off and not worth $7 or more to the customer. Even when using stars, we actually want coffee with our ice. I then get a watered down replacement with almost no ice and barely any cream. Looked nothing like the first one in color or texture. The barista was being an unprofessional smart as. I will do them and myself a favor and never go back to 5th streets location. I guess because I redeemed 100 stars for the drink it wasn’t important to give me what I asked for initially. Then to follow it up with a watered down barely iced drink was clearly intentional. How about just doing what a customer ask on their order? In general, it’s over priced with Baristas who vary in skill. Some with poor attitudes and others that act like the price of the ingredients come from their pocket. Take it way to personally. I didn’t even bother driving off with it. A Dutch Bros is being built off of University. I hope they steal all of 5th...
Read moreWhen a customer who is in a hurry to pee wants to use the restroom, they tell you that you must place an order before you can use the restroom with a code. This is ridiculous. It is hard to imagine that Starbucks, which relies on its service quality, can have such rude service. They should list the use of restrooms in their menu. Even if you are not their customer. I think selling the use of restrooms will also make a lot of money. A very new marketing method! Shameless business!
A couple of nights ago, while driving, I forgot to stop at the order station to place my order. When I reached the window, I was asked to go back to the order station. I thought it was my mistake and a misunderstanding on my part. However, today’s experience showed me otherwise—this is just the kind of arrogant service they provide.
I’ve noticed that other Starbucks locations offer two restrooms for customers. But at this particular store, perhaps because of a large employee team or their supposedly great needs, they have reserved one of the two restrooms exclusively for staff. This is...
Read moreI usually stop by the Starbucks on West 2nd Street in San Bernardino on my way to work. Today their Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino was unavailable, so I went to the Starbucks on 5th Street instead. Like other Starbucks locations, this location also serves hot and cold drinks, whole-bean coffee, micro-ground instant coffee known such as VIA, Espresso, Caffe Latte, full and loose-leaf teas including Teavana tea products. They also serve Evolution Fresh juices, Frappuccino beverages, La Boulange pastries, and snacks including items such as chips and crackers. They also sell pre-packaged food items, hot and cold sandwiches, and drinkware, including mugs and tumblers. I ordered a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino, Iced Caramel Macchiato, and Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes through the drive-thru. There’s not much to say about the taste - the food and drinks were just like any other Starbucks, consistent and familiar. Since I ordered through the drive-thru, I can’t comment on the ambiance of this Starbucks location. The prices were reasonable, and the overall service was...
