This store is the closest fast food place to me (though there's a few more options a couple blocks down), and they've never been rude to me, have never said no to any special requests to customize items, and they understand that if my order is $16.31 and I give them $21.31, I want a $5 bill back. They don't stare at me and have to call the manager like most other drive thrus. They have never forgot an item, and only once or twice have they messed something up, like putting cheese on a burger that the ticket is marked no cheese. It's nice to be able to go to a drive-thru in 2024 and get the service you expect: polite workers who behave like they are being paid to provide a service to me.
They provide good service WITHOUT treating me like I should be grateful that they are doing me a favor by even providing any level of service.
Also a friendly reminder that food service workers deserve to be treated properly, too.
The only drawback to this location is that you do sometimes find homeless people hanging out in the parking lot, by the drive thru menus, or at the drive thru exit. The kind that hang out in this area are usually addicts. But I've never seen them hanging out during the hours that the doors are open for inside dining. The store does try to make them leave once they are aware, and I've never seen any act threatening or aggressive, nor am I aware of any incidents here, so don't decide not to get food here if you see any of them...

Read moreVery good food; hot and tasty, but most of the people working the front line are not trained properly. When I was managing fast food restaurants, I always trained the front line employees to round out and a meal and round up a sale. If an order comes in for a burger and fries, I would suggest a drink. If the order was for a burger, fries, and a drink, I would suggest a dessert item. I once had a drive-thru customer who knew I would ALWAYS try to up-sell. He jokingly said that he does not want french fries, onion rings, a large or medium soda, any flavor milk shake, or a hot apple pie! I asked if he would like a hot cherry pie? He laughed, and said he would FINALLY take my up-sell suggestion. After that day, he always included a cherry pie...
