I grew up in Upland, and have such fond memories of my mom, and dad (may they rest in peace) picking up, and sometimes letting me come with them to the Juan Pollo, off the corner of Foothill, and Euclid. My favorite thing their being their potato salad.
Well up until two years ago, for the prior seventeen years, I haven't lived near any Juan Pollo, so I haven't been able to eat any of their delicious food... especially their potato salad!... those were dark times indeed! Until as I said; two years ago, when I moved here, to San Bernardino. Here I found this Juan Pollo, and have been happy ever since...
Or at least I would be, except for one little thing... I'm disabled, and can't go anywhere on my own anymore, and Juan Pollo doesn't deliver, nor work with companies like Doordash to have it delivered either. So that's the only issue I have with the store... for me anyway.
P.S. I miss you Juan Pollo...

Been literally following them since they were up at Palm & Highland Ave. The meat is always cooked well and the rice is pretty good but my favorite is the potato salad. The beans are too bland for me. Just my opinion. I love the flavors, you know. What i quickly didnt love when they got their newest location were the attitudes. So I took my craving for citrus chicken elsewhere. U can, u know. But i go in there now and the crew is youthful, happy to see me, smiling, attentive, working hard like they need a job. It was refreshing. They treated everyone the same. I was watching. I been passing them by. Ignoring them. Long as they keep it up, I'm coming back. Customer service and Food quality on...
Read moreIts sad to say that after the owner and founder of Juan Pollo passing that the food is being made different now. Why dose someone in the family or a family member always do that when they take control of the business. So what I'm trying to get at is now the chicken is a little smaller now but still have that great taste, they also changed up the rice, its not being made the way they use to make it, its white rice with no favor to it like before and their tacos aren't large size tacos anymore they are just regular size tacos now. I know why they are doing is to save money and plus to get that extra money to pocket. So they should just keep it traditional if they don't want to lose customers and their regular customers that go in. I'm sure the original owner would be disappointed with...
