I ordered sweet tea. When I went to pay, the guy said unsweetened tea. I told him no, I ordered sweet tea. He said ok and that he would change it. Got to the window to pick up my order and confirmed that it was sweet tea. The guy there said yes it was sweet. He handed me the cup, I took a quick sip and said no, this is unsweetened. I ordered sweet tea. He then tells me they are brewing the sweet tea and it would be a while. He asked if I would like a different drink drink. I said ok, a large orange juice. He gets the drink, starts to hand it to me, then says, oh there will be an up charge for this. I told him I wasn't paying an up charge and would just wait for the sweet tea, which is what I really wanted. He then says oh, it's the thing that adds the sweetener that isn't working so there is no sweet tea. I said ok, then I will do the large orange juice with no upcharge. He said he asked two managers and he had to upcharge for it. Oddly he never left my view of him and I saw him speak to one person. I told him that he already had the orange ready to go so it would be easier and faster to give me the orange juice. He said for an upcharge only. I said ok, I'll just take my money back and go somewhere else. So now they have held up the line for far to long. And wasted an entire meal that they are going to throw out. And return my money on top of it.
The whole thing would have been avoided had they just said from the beginning that they didn't have sweet tea. I would have ordered completely...
Read moreIll start off by saying I have worked at McDonald before. I have been in the workers shoes and customer service is a big thing to me even if I no longer work there. I've dealt with rude customers so even to this day when I go to any drive-thru, which is not that often, I am extremely nice. This is second time a worker is rude, the first was a manager! Set the example much?
okay, I went in the morning before class and I ordered an oatmeal with everything on the side (even the water). I have done this before at other locations and I have NEVER had any problem doing so, I've even done it at my location. Well when I asked for this I was nice about and she says that they cannot do it. I say "I would just like the hot water in a coffee cup on the side because I am not going to eat it right away and I don't want it to get all clumpy and gross." I swear she giggles over the speaker and gives a smart ass response saying they cannot give an unprepared oatmeal its like giving an unprepared hamburger then goes on to say that she asked her manager and they said they cannot do it. Okay, laughing at a customer is one thing but then to respond with a smart ass response pissed me off. I wanted to be one of those rude customers but whatever. I didn't let it get to me and just asked for fruit on the side. I pulled up to get my food and the oatmeal had the fruit inside, had to be parked to get the fruit on the side. Customer Service should be more present. Will not be...
Read moreTerrible terrible terrible service! If this wasnât the closest mc Donaldâs I wouldnât come here. Every time I come Iâm served with attitude first. Today I asked for some tarter sauce and the dude in back drive literally rolled their eyes at me. And said that he absolutely could not give me one cus it was 40cents. He didnât even ask me what kind of regular sauce I wanted to start with. Fine, I just told them at the window, and they gave me all the wrong ones, my boyfriend had to go back in to get the right ones. Last time I came, dine in, I was served carbonated water, instead of sprite. When they finally corrected this, I went back up for my first refill, since you know they gave me the wrong drink. And the manger told my boyfriend he couldnât get a refill because they had already given me oneâŚ. I went up and corrected the manager. To which she did end up saying âoh yeahâ but no apology. Rude ass service. Iâve worked fast food and at mc Donaldâs in other areas for years and this is ridiculous. Service is trash managers like employees need major attitude adjustments. Like I know weâre in the ghetto but your attitudes donât have to match it. If someone is talking to you with kindness and respect it would be nice to receive it back. You guys arenât giving food away, Iâm a paying costumer being treated like a begger. So upsetting. Oh and before the excuse is itâs a busy location, there was two car in front of us. No...
