I stumbled in because the place is open late and discovered some of the best Mexican food in San Bernardino City. This place emphasizes steak and shrimp and it isn't cheap, but that's okay. I was with a friend and to be safe, we agreed on the deluxe fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimp. My friend really appreciated the fact chips and salsa were served while we waited for the main course, because it seems not enough restaurants provide that courtesy around here. The food quality and portion size were excellent, me and my friend shared the fajitas. We were given the option of flour and/or corn tortillas, I only would have preferred that they provide a greater quantity. We also ordered beverages and I could tell my horchata was legitimate and crafted in-house, which is excellent. There was a TV tuned to sports in the spot, but I was tuned into my friend. Me and my friend split the $40 tab. My positive review is strictly limited to San Bernardino City. As a measure, I would prefer it over chain restaurants and Castanedas (albeit more expensive than Castanedas). I never go to any restaurant because the service is great (I don't know anyone who does that either) I strictly go for food. Me and my friend both agreed this place is worth...
Read moreThe waitress Adriana was not nice at all. We had 13 ppl with us and she was rude to all of them. I did see she was really nice to all other tables that spoke Spanish. We had to ask other servers for help on all occasions, that were not our server. When we would ask them they would just look at her. We had to basically ask for drinks beer and sodas from the bar. We had to ask random workers for chips as we asked her 3 different times, she said ok and never brought them. Oh and it was not busy at all. She did refill our drinks the first time. As she was taking our cups she told us to grab the straw then stacked the cups on top of each other then noticed it was too many cups stacked that she would not remember who's cup was who's so she then unstacked the cups and gave them back to each person. Good thing we were watching because she gave the wrong cups to the wrong ppl. We then switched the cups to the right ppl ourselfs. That was the most ghetto thing I have ever seen a waitress do. I have been a waitress for 9 years I would never do this to my guests. She really needs to be trained better or find another profession. The food was overall good and besides her everyone else...
Read moreJust recently got marry in this venue. The prices are reasonable considering it includes drinks, coffee, and chips. They also offer fruit and pan dulce which I did purchased. They have a minimum requirement of 50 people to be able to use the banquet hall, but be careful to stick to the number of people you pay for, they will count and charge you. The staff was great, starting with Luis who was amazing at answering all my questions and concerns. Alonzo was also very helpful and made sure our needs were met. The lighting and AC need a little tweaking but the staff was very attentive when it came to our request. Things to keep in mind: there is no special pricing for kids, the rate is a flat rate for every single person that shows up. You get three food choices, beef, pork, and chicken. Also, you will have to tip the waiters/waitresses that serve in your party. Overall everyone raved about our wedding. They had so much fun and I was not left with a sour taste or thinking i had been duped. If you are looking for a economical option and don't want to stress too much this is the place. They also have everything you need if you want to source out everything for...
