Super Burrito — Restaurant in San Bernardino

Not the same without Art. Been going to Super Burrito since the late 70's my brothers and childhood friends owned a shop on 5th Jessie Spring now that they have passed and the shop is sold I don't come around as often so I was in the neighborhood and wanted some chicken tacos Art made the best chicken tacos what I got from new owners look like carnitas not chicken and they didn't put the guacamole on it very disappointed.well I guess I won't be going there anymore. If Art ever reads these reviews I want to wish him a very happy a peaceful retirement he will always be a friend of mine. Super Burrito you get a thumbs down. I know I made a bad review the food wasn't bad the new owner was friendly but I made my view on what we all grew up and loved as Art"s Super Burrito his family's traditional way of creating excellent food for all to enjoy. I don't know how good the food is, and I guess it just wasn't that memorable. What was memorable was that we waited soooo long for the order, I saw a couple ppl who gave up and left. I tasted my friends huge burrito and it seemed okay but what bugged me is the casual way the guy taking orders brushed me off and others but yet spent way too long talking to this one guy who was holding up the line, I mean if you are gonna visit, do it later on your own time not the customers. My mom was an excellent Mexican cook so I know good Mexican food and this place was just okay. I don't even remember what I had or care. I have been eating at Super Burrito for over 30 years. My ex-husband took me to Super Burrito for lunch one day when I started working in San Bernardino. I was impressed - The food was great! I have never had anything that I was disappointed with........ the tacos, enchiladas, tamales, tostadas, everything tastes so good. Super Burrito has been in the same location ever since I worked in San Bernardino. Super Burrito is the best! The Tacos are great! I have known Art, the owner for over 30 years.
