Overall very satisfied with quality/price of food. Friendly service too :)

Update July 2018: Maybe I caught the server on a bad day, but the service was quite appalling. We walked in for lunch on a weekend. We were seated promptly to a table without utensils; but soon after, the waiter brought utensils and the menu along. So far, so good. ... We waited a while for the waiter to come by, but they never did. I tried to get waiter's attention by raising my hand and all that but they still didn't come - presumably busy with other tasks? But then I saw them chatting it up with one of the tables - wth? We were waiting for a good 15 minutes at this point, but they didn't seem to care that we were waiting to get any service. I lost my appetite/interest in dining here, so we just picked up our bags and left. It's really unfortunate since I remembered I enjoyed their food in the past, but I don't think I'll be...

We came to the restaurant on a Thursday evening around 6:00-6:30. There were three to four tables with 2-3 people per table. We were seated promptly and given menus. To be fair, the hostess was also serving and answering the phone. Even so, she did not return to take our order for another 15 to 20 minutes, even though our menus were closed, usually a cue that one is ready to order. The food came out fairly quickly and it was all good---tom yum soup, spicy fried tofu, yellow chicken curry, spicy eggplant with chicken, beef and broccoli served with white rice. For three people, this was enough food with leftover. Price was fair, around 24.00 per person. Just took a long time before we got the bill as well. The reason for the three star rating is more for the service as the food was very good and price was fair for Thai food. Perhaps they need to hire more help. I would recommend the...

My family and I eat here every other Friday night after taking kids swimming. Family owned with great food and great service. Daughter is really nice! They always remember our standard order.

Best dish is their Pad See-ew (#42). My son loves it and demands every week. We pick shrimp for the meet. Wide rice noodle.

Tom Kha Kai #14. Best soup with only a touch of sour. Chicken coconut soup with a little lemon grass.

Wife’s favorite is #57 Pad Ga Prow. Wife picks chicken over pork or shrimp. Shredded ground chicken with special ingredi

For vegetarians try Som Tum ( shredded free papaya salad). Alternative hot veg dish is eggplant with tofu. Winner for those who like Asian egg plant

For fish lovers get #56 Fillet Panang - very fluffy Fillet of fish. Not a crisp fish plate

Hot plate of seafood is #72 is nice and balanced. Good for family meal.

I...

For $16 for a fried rice I would expect bigger portions and fresh rice at the very least , I thought ordering close to open time would guarantee freshness but I’m better off asking when a fresh batch of rice is available at this point I like the flavor but I can taste rice when it isn’t fresh or possibly made hours before it’s slightly crunchier and just not as fresh the veggies also aren’t sautéed fresh possibly previously frozen not the same cashier I’m used to either I just wanted to try this place one last time before giving up but at this point don’t waste your money on the fried rice or ask for fresh rice which should be a given for the prices they charge

Have been wanting to try Thai Nakorn for a while now and when my dad came into town and wanted to try Thai for the first time, it seemed like the perfect opportunity. The food did not disappoint, we started with chicken satay then got three dishes for my dad to try. Pad Kee Moa (drunken noodles) has always been my absolute favorite so of course we got that. Also had to get the dish that started my Thai journey, Kaeng Phed Ped Yang (roasted duck in curry sauce) - was fabulous with amazing flavor. Then got roasted duck fried rice. Everything was delicious and can't wait to go back.

I've basically ignored this place because the exterior does not seem welcoming, but was I so wrong. The Tom Kha Kai is legit. It literally reminds me of Thailand. It is so good. And the authenticity test has been met with the sticky rice with mango. It is seasonal, and a real Thai restaurant would not serve it any less. Not a substitue version but it makes me so happy they have this dessert right. Basically, They serve it with the right type of mango, the right kind of ripeness. The presentation could be worked on but it's still delicious.
