Sky Kitchen — Restaurant in San Carlos

This is my second time to this beautiful scenery restaurant. The first time I came with some friends and we had a great time. Our waitress/waiter was awesome. Today I was in the area so I went out of my way to come back and have that atmosphere again, that vibe. Unfortunately as soon as I walked in I felt, not welcomed. I saw two Mexican waiters and thought great my people. I should feel really comfortable here. But instead I felt like I wasn’t wanted there. I sat down and no one came over, after about five minutes I went to the counter and asked for coffee. This waiter didn’t like me going to the counter. He told me to go to my table and that he would bring me some coffee. He was not helpful at all, didn’t come over to ask if I needed anything. Not I’ll I was leaving he brought me my check. And even then, the other waiter took my check and he wasn’t very happy either. I asked him, where do I sign the receipt, and he said “I don’t know, just any where” at this point I just shook my head. The cook here is one of the best you will ever find anywhere! The man knows how to cook and loves cooking! You will know the first time you taste his food! To the cook thank you Sir keep up the fantastic your! And to the owner's if i were you i would take care of this man! If you loose him you will loose customer's! The cook makes the place! This restaurant was my original on airport diner experience. KSQL San Carlos Airport has been around for eighty years. The restaurant has changed hands over the years; however, still every visit is always nostalgic. The menu is diverse and abundant. Service is great even when the place is busy. The airport action is right out the windows and parking is free and abundant. Best to go when you’re not in a hurry. Take it all in.
