Beach Hut Deli — Restaurant in San Clemente

Definitely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I'm glad to see this establishment here, and if I could make a suggestion or two I would like to see a happy hour here as it's a little bit on the pricier side especially for beers! Also being so close to the beach it would be nice if the owner would get rid of the plastic utensils and get some biodegradable ones in place the single-use plastic. It would also be nice to see the rest of the premises landscaped with nice succulents and shrubs or trees, to spruce up the outside a bit. So far since the opening I've been here three times and...

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I was asked to leave the premises even though I had a clearly identified and well-behaved service dog with me. Not only was this disrespectful, but it also goes against ADA laws that protect individuals with disabilities who rely on service animals. The staff showed a complete lack of understanding and professionalism when handling the situation. No one should be treated this way—especially when following the law. I hope management takes steps to properly train their employees on how to treat all customers with respect...

I love this place, my kids do too. BUT… as soon as two orders get placed the entire place slows to a crawl. You’re making sandwiches not Michelin star meals. The management must be terrible. Every time I’m there they just can’t make sandwiches at any pace faster than snails. It’s horrible. I could make all the sandwiches faster than they make 2. I placed an order 32 minutes ago and still nothing and there are 7 tables waiting for sandwiches. I wouldn’t have posted this, but it’s been this way every weekend I’ve come.
