Wow… absolutely horrible service. We signed up for the rewards program a couple days ago at a different location (which was the location in Carlsbad and they were all amazing people.) We were then on our way to the beach and popped into this location quick to use our free drink and when we got up to the window to scan it Carson said he couldn’t use it because it was for the regular size only (understandable, we didn’t read the fine print). So we asked if they could make it a regular then and he said “no it’s already processed, so are you going to pay or not?” And we said “no we wanted to use our free one” and he said “do you have card or something?” And we said “no we wanted to use our free one, and didn’t realize it was only for a regular size. Why can’t we just change it to a regular?” Then he just walked away and asked a girl “what to do about us”. The girl running the speaker box came to the window and did the right thing and allowed us the large free coffee which was nice of her. Ultimately, why was this such a big deal that we needed to be treated that way?

Carson was extremely unpleasant and should not be in the service industry. As someone who has worked in the coffee industry I’m literally shocked on how we were treated here. We have never had an issue with Better...

Got an Iced Horchata Latte (with an extra shot) and it was absolutely delicious. The decor, vibe, and energy at Better Buzz is always great. Staff was friendly, but there was one standout, a wonderful young woman named Chloe. When I came in, I was warmly greeted and she was thoughtful in making some recommendations. I was there a while, as I pulled out my laptop to get some work done. Everyone that walked in received the same warmth and thoughtfulness, and I often heard small moments of connection and humanity.
