The star is for the other employees at this location who were helpful to me, but I came in looking specifically for something from Clinique and i only really use their products but the employee at this section of the store was absolutely vile. First, i come in and she immediately goes to take her break as i was asking her for help. Second, I ask another employee for help and she informs me i can take 3 samples from this section and that it is 100% okay. I take one. So as the clinique employee comes back after maybe 15-25 minutes i ask her for help which again shes super unhelpful and rude, almost dismissive… and then she leaves so I decided with my sister oh I’m gonna grab my second sample. The employee comes up behind us and starts raising her voice and kind of yelling, saying “you cant touch this, and you need to learn how to ask for a sample. You aren’t allowed to touch anything here” so we look at her go oh okay and walk away… I will never shop at Ulta in person again this was the absolute worst way to end my day. I don’t mind asking for help at all but there is no reason another person should ever raise their voice in a customer service setting, or rather at all. Thank you...
Read moreMade a facial appointment at 11am, was told my appointment was at 3:15. Three employees walked past me at the counter when I was attempting to check in. When I was finally acknowledged, a group of 4 was taken “early” for their appointment ahead of mine. Was not even apologized to or looked at in the eye. They asked THE GROUP of LADIES if THEY were ok letting me have my appointment “in between” theirs. Not awkward at all. I decided I would just browse the store, and opted out of “my appointment”. Brought some products to the counter that were tagged “Buy 1, get 1 40% off”. But the tags apparently were expired yesterday. The nice counter employee brought a manager out to assist in honoring the pricing since they made the mistake of not taking the sale down. But you can imagine- they wouldn’t honor it. So I asked for a comment card, maybe I could offer some feedback. She asked what happened. Her response had suspicious undertones in saying they only make appointments in 20min increments, not 15. Read moreThis store continues to be a disappointment. Sales girls chatting up a storm with one another and clearly they see customers on the floor. Are they trained to not ask customers if they would like assistance finding products ? I had been standing in the same place extremely confused about product . I had to call out for assistance which did not come until they were finished with their conversation. Which by the way was not work related . When the girl did attempt at helping me I was asking questions related to tarte products . She could not answer any of my questions . Rather than find someone else who was knowledgeable she just walked away and continued with her chat session . Not a care in the world about the customer .
