I ordered a shrimp taco and one of their "Famous" fish tacos. Let me start by saying the food was delicious 😋 and prepared with fresh ingredients. 😋 But if I can make a small suggestion, if your gunna charge $5.98 per taco, then my friend, please use something larger than bay shrimp and there should be more than 5 small shrimp per taco, maybe add 2 or 3 more or use smaller tortillas. But like I said earlier, it was delicious 😋 Your "Famous" fish taco was really very good but being "Famous Fish" tacos, I thought the fish was gunna be fresh and locally caught since you are so close to the ocean, but it seems it was not, however it did have a nice sized portion of breaded fish and made with fresh ingredients just like the shrimp taco. I look forward to coming back and trying their Carne Asada and chicken tacos, the staff is friendly and helpful. So if your in the area and hungry stop by Pedro's Tacos for some good food and enjoy the outdoor patio seating. 😊 Tell them Fred sent you 😉 If you have found Pedro's Tacos you have discovered a hidden gem of a location for unique and very cool little restaurants and eateries that I have dubbed the "El Camino Real Restaurant Row" You've heard it here first, and Folks, I'll be posting on All the other great gems of little mom and pop places along the...
Read moreMy husband and I order the fish tacos. 🌮 They were nasty Frozen fish and dried up pre-made fish tacos is all I am saying in regards to taste. They gave us tons of salsa that was pre-packaged ketchup style packages. Double nasty. According to their site and their sign say best fish tacos not so true at all. We drove from San Diego not worth the drive there. Each taco were $4.50 plus tax. My son order a Carne Asada burrito. It was lukewarm. He said it didn't taste better than other burritos. It was just average. The place only has limited outside seating. The tables were so small and uncomfortable. Average two or one per table. I am 😞 sorry to leave this negative reviewed, but it the honest truth. I believe in supporting small business. I was excited give this place the benefit of doubt. But it failed. Maybe it was once the best 👌 but for now the fish tacos...
Read moreService was average not overly nice or rude. I ordered carne asada burrito and chips and salsa. Which are my favorite. But the chips were stale, the meat was very very salty and the salsa really wasn’t salsa but it was pico degayo. The hot sauce I got was sauce packets similar to what you would get from Taco Bell. I have it 2 stars because all the hype that I read about this place really got me excited about it. But it definitely is not a 4 star place. Given how salty the food was coupled with stale chips and fast food style hot sauce I didn’t feel it deserved such a high rating. Maybe I’m biased since I live in San Diego and there are hundreds of hole in the wall taco shops there who give you legit salsa, and fresh made chips and the carne asada is out of this world there. And you can find that at almost ANY of the taco shops there. This place was...
