Disappointed with this place. I was looking forward to trying this place out due to reviews. However the service was terrible. I arrived at the restaurant shortly after opening. No other clients were present. Instead of greeting me happily, I was greeted with” it’s going to be at least 30 minutes for your order due to a larger takeout order that’s being prepared”. Everyone seemed flustered. It took 20 minutes to get a Thai Ice tea. I placed an order for drunken Thai noodles and asked for it to be spicy. It was prepared mild with absolutely no flavor. The noodles were thrown over the slices off beef that was clearly not sautéed with the noodles. That was a first for me. The drunken noodles included several vegetables. I been to Thailand several times and never had drunken noodles with 5 different vegetables. This is not traditional Thai. Drunken noodles should only include Basil, red peppers and green beans and the beef sautéed with the flavors. Disappointed 😔. If you want good Thai food you are not going to find it in SD. Take...

Located in the back of convenience store for convenience lol. But seriously, good place. Smells great. I ordered the Gai Pad (Chicken) I might be saying it wrong, one crispy spring roll, and Pad Thai. I didn't like my Pad Thai. Was slimy to me. But the place seemed authentic so was probably just personal taste. Will have to try somewhere else to compare. But I want to return and try their drunken noodles. They have plenty of options. Parking is tight. Not many spaces at least at night when I went. Sometimes they get so busy they don't give you full attention, but the staff is very polite and patient. I've waited 4-5 orders before leaving this review because I so wanted to be wrong.

The service is always good, food is ready when I get there, ordering is smooth, prices are good, people are nice...

But the food just bland and not good. There just isn't much in the way of aromatics or spices. The meat is particularly unseasoned, like it's just steamed and mixed in at the end. Everything in the dishes tastes and looks steamed with some light sauce mixed in. There's never any signs of high heat stir frying, wok hei, or anything. It's like what thai food would be if you ordered it on temu. Or if it was a la croix flavor.

Maybe this is what some people want?

I've mostly ordered noodle dishes and always the spiciest option. So take with a grain of salt if you're ordering...
