Tasty Pizza — Restaurant in San Diego

I just called Tasty pizza and honestly I always love their pizza and prices but just now I was very disappointed at the lack of professionalism of whomever answered the phone. I wanted the Mexican pizza without onions but replace it with a vegetable similar or same price. The guy on the phone stated that it CAN NOT be done because really... NO REASON! He said you can take any items off but there is no substitution. So then I can order a built your own large for $9.99 with up to 5 toppings but can’t adjust a Mexican Pizza that only has 4 toppings!!! I might be very dumb or the Mexican Pizza is already premade in a way were the toppings can be taken out but God forbid you put one back in! Because Hell will break loose! So just get a large 5 toppings add the Chorizo, tomato, jalapeño, take the onion out and maybe add two other toppings of your choice and boom! There’s a “Mexican modified with an extra free topping” Pizza. Why something that could easily be as simple as take the onion out of the Mexican Pizza and put some other veggie becomes such a hard task???...WHY PEOPLE WHY????? Is not like the place is super packed, not at this hour anyways. I want my hundreds of dollars spent in Tasty pizza over the years back!!! JK!! I just wish the person on the phone was better trained and at least had a better lame excuse than not even knowing why he couldn’t alter a Pizza that is not even created...or is...

Went in the other night to purchase a combo for my family, the combo included two pizzas and a drink, grabbed my drink on the way out and the employee chased me down to my car telling me that I hadn’t paid for the drink and when I told him that I purchased the combo he rudely said to me “ what combo? “ this was the same employee that took my order and rang me up. $25 for two pizzas is insanely overpriced especially since they advertise them as $7.99 each, I had to reiterate that I had paid for a combo and he said “ well it comes with garlic bread if it’s a combo “ was not given any thing extra even though this man knew that I had paid for a combo. I called to place a order and ask about the picture menu was on the website. Worst customer over the phone service!! He lied one thing I know is you never lie to the customer. I simple ask him what specials he had and there was a photo of the menu on there website for Tasty Pizza for location on Broadway made sure to ask if that was the correct location, he said yes.
