Worst of the worst customer service evvvvver. I was beyond upset. I was so darn upset that I had to wait until today to post this review to avoid saying very very very bad and foul things about these so called Carl's Jr employees. They don't qualify for jobs like this. Personally I don't think Roger (Manager) and Britney (Cashier) belong in a place with people. I don't think they should work in a public place at all. Neither of them qualify for any type of job that interact with people. Sorry but this is going to be a long one. I was starving. I love Carl's Jr. I've been eating Carl's Jr since I was a little kid. I'm now 43. That's a very long time. I walked in and there was a father and his son waiting to get their food. No one else was inside this max capacity of 80 people Carl's Jr restaurant. I walked up to the register and said hello to the only person working behind the counter. She was walking towards the drivethrough window and did not say anything to me at all. Not even a I'll be with you shortly. Not a darn word. I know she did hear me because she slightly turned her head to the left towards my direction. I waited 8 minutes patiently and I even said hello to a smaller elderly lady that was in the kitchen making fries and she waived and said hello back to me with a beautiful smile. I didn't get her name. But she was doing a faaaaantastic job and I could tell she was a wonderful person. There were two other gentelmen that were also working very hard preping the food. They were also great. So finally Britney the cashier decides to come and take my order. I had a couple of coupons and I kindly asked her would it be possible for me to get this instead of that and she didn't even hesitate to say NO. She didn't try to ask the manager or anything. She straight out said no. I'm pretty sure she could have because the items were the exact same price. I didn't even argue and placed my order and I mentioned no pickles and no cheese please. She repeated my order back and I paid and She asked me if I wanted my receipt and I said absolutely yes please. She hands me my change and my receipt and my dine in number and I went and sat down and waited. That gentleman with his son were still waiting for their food. The gentleman with his son was very sick. He kept sneezing and I don't think he felt good at all. As he was standing by the soda machine with his son I seen a group of ladies walk in and I was paying very close attention to how they were going to get treated from my bad experience. I didn't hear anyone greet them or anything. The gentleman with his son finally got their food and the gentleman said something to the ladies and girls that had walked in a few minutes ago. From the time I walked in and ordered to the time he received his to go order must have been at least 17 minutes or even a couple of minutes longer. It was absolutely rediciolus. Unacceptable and unbelievable. I got up to go check on my food and noticed this very very large person sitting in the back room or break room on his or her phone. As I'm loosing my patience because I was starving and I had been waiting for over 20 minutes to receive my food the cashier finally asks the lady customers that were waiting for a very long time to take their order. That person that was sitting in the break room finally decides to come and work a little. It was Rodger the manager. Looks at me and said what did you need ??? I pointed at my food that was sitting in the hot tray and said my food that's been sitting there for 10 minutes now. He gives me my food and I said could I please get some jalapenos and he said 35 cents I said no problem. I gave him the money and he TOSSED my change in my hand and I said thank you and walked towards my table and he said here you go. I kept walking towards my table and he yelled and said here are your jalopenos. I said bring them to me. He said they are right here. I ignored it and said my prayer and ate my food. My burgers were cold and my zucchini's were so hot that I burned my tounge. Lots more but I ran...
Read moreI stopped by the Carl's Jr. on Bernardo Center Drive to pickup a couple of items for my wife. Rather than go through the drive-thru (which was busy), I opted to park and walk in. Once inside, I saw one person working at the drive-thru window and two other people in the back preparing orders. There was no one (that I could see) that was working the front counter. There was a self-order terminal but since this was my first encounter with a terminal like this, I opted to see if someone would eventually come and take my order. After a few minutes of waiting, someone did arrive. Once that happened, my experience was much better. The order taker was personable and professional and helped me with the special order I was requesting. Within a few short minutes, my order was ready and I was on the way home. My wife said the food was fine (typical of restaurants of...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible service you can definitely tell the staff at this location hate their jobs. When arriving to the drive through to purchase a kids meal for my son the guy on the speaker didn't even greet us and you can tell in his voice he really didn't want to be there. When asking what is available on their kids meal he sighed and spoke in a very low un audible volume, and when asked to repeat an item he sighed and said "oh my god" so my wife and I just drove through and didn't purchase anything and gave our business to the jack in the box literally 100 feet away. Terrible service, unfriendly and un-professional and what is even worse the manager was standing right next to the guy taking our order and allowing the behavior. Avoid this place and heed the 3.7...
